On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we celebrate the cultures, languages, and traditions that Indigenous communities have carried across generations. Tribal Nations and Indigenous communities are central to the American story and continue to shape and strengthen our nation today.

The Trump administration can’t rewrite the law just because they don’t like it. I led my Democratic colleagues in opposing a rule that would block certain legal immigrants who work and pay taxes from claiming the tax credits they’ve earned.
