There's no man that dropped out of school to be a husband.🤥
There's no man that left his job to be a father. 😖
There's no man that will do fasting and prayers for his wife to stop cheating. 😏
No man will turn down going abroad cos of his wife and children. 😰
Women, WHY?🤔
As a She Leads youth advocate from @GYWVoiceBugiri mentored by @mucobadi,I'm lacing up for Lake Victoria💙 @FishInitiatives

Leadership: Myths vs Facts
MYTHS vs FACTS: Women in Leadership 👩🏾💼✊🏾
“Women are too emotional to lead.” ❌
FACT: Leadership is about vision, accountability, skills and decision-making—not gender.
“Women should wait their turn.” ❌
FACT: Women have always contributed to our communities, institutions and economies. They deserve equal opportunities to lead and make decisions.
“Leadership is a man’s space.” ❌
FACT: Leadership has no gender. Women belong in boardrooms, political spaces, community leadership and every table where decisions affecting society are made.
So, let’s stop asking whether women can lead and start asking: What is stopping them from getting equal opportunities?
A seat at the table is not a favour. It is equality.

Rethinking Education Through Climate Action | Green Expo 2026
At the Green Expo held at St. Kizito on 10 October 2026, I was humbled to witness the incredible work being done to integrate climate education into schools.
As someone working with Yanayi Haki Afriqya, also known as Climate Justice Africa, I was proud to see the vision we have been advocating for becoming a reality. My appreciation goes to the students, teachers, school leadership, and Brian for championing this important work.
Through our Climate Change Integration for Educators (CCIE) programme, we equip teachers with the knowledge and skills to integrate climate change into everyday classroom learning.
What we witnessed at St. Kizito is a powerful reminder that a good school is not defined by academic excellence alone, but also by its ability to nurture informed, responsible, and environmentally conscious citizens.
My hope is that, in the next five years, every school will learn from the example set by St. Kizito, and every teacher will be equipped to bring climate knowledge into the classroom.

So, what does equality mean when women still don’t have equal access to, ownership of, or control over land?
At the 4th Women’s Land Rights Conference, we are putting women’s land rights where they belong: at the centre of the conversation.
