Read the whole thread from @KHJ_Esq and you'll see why @rocnation's $300 million donation for school vouchers in Philadelphia is VERY problematic.

Long thread. But I have to put something I said about Jay-Z and this voucher program conservatives are pushing into writing before I forget it.

Make it make sense!!! There are REAL issues that need our attention, instead of that goofball Kanye.

Y’all worried about Whites that own record labels, and people being “black enough “ to stand with ye…. When there’s Black Leaders fighting in your city on REAL issues that you don’t even stand with or support regularly. Make it make sense

Folks, I respect the Queen as much as the next person. I offer my condolences to the Brits and all who loved her. But can I please get some news and footage of the effects of Fiona in Puerto Rico? For those who need reminding, they are American citizens in distress. 🇵🇷

Unpopular Opinion: I REFUSE to watch The Woman King. I just can't get down with the revisionist take of the Dahomey and Benin tribes as heroes, when in reality, they were the progenitors of the Transatlantic Slave Trade.

One thing that needs to die within the Black Community is all the folks capitalizing off these “motivational messages” that’s centered around nothing but “getting a bag” “materialism” and “selfishness” … money and materialism ain’t solving our inward issues

"For MINE is the kingdom"...Oh wait a minute, that was a Freudian Slip...Jesus said, "For THINE is the Kingdom". Individualism has unconsciously wreaked havoc on our theology in the consumer-driven society we delight in. The Church, in order to be revived may need a new Exodus

"The greatest challenge of the Church is converting Christians into Believers." - @cindytrimm

There are so many Christians that need to be converted to actual Christianity.

The whale swallows Jonah due to his rebellion and saves him from dying in the water. God’s mercy is evident even in seasons of judgment and chastisement. He preserves us in even our failures.

Our lives really do have value....we all have something to live for! Stay up on the wall like Nehemiah...have your mindset on the work, and DO IT!!!

One of the best days & destiny altering moments in ur life happens when u have the courage to stop caring about what other people think & feel about u, & start caring about what u think & feel about urself & believing that God has a plan for ur life! Ur life really does matter!
