no, in a serious note: I have been having issues with coming back here to write as of recently due to a busy schedule and lack of muse. will be restarting all my reps /I'm so sorry ๐

โ โ โ As much as she was thankful for being saved by the glowing-man, she hardly wanted to get involved in getting to the bottom of this caseโ
โ No clue. . . am I good to go here, orrr. . . ? โ
โ โ โ
โ โ โ
โ
โ โ โ She eyes the ragged machine, letting out a sharp, frustrated huff as she scrawls a string of hurried, messy calculations onto a scrap of paper with a grimace. At this rate, she'd be stuck here for a bit regardlessโ
โฉ
โ
โ
โ โ โ She runs her free hand back through her locs as her gaze drifts off momentarily from the page to the machine. Truthfully, she had little reason to rush back.
โ โ โ It wasn't like anyone was waiting on her, or even knew she was gone in the first placeโ
โฉ
โ
โ
โ โ โ Her eyes go wide, her usual stoicism melting away the second the Owl landed on his arm. She takes a soft step forward, completely fascinated.
โ No way. . . โ
โ โ โ A genuine, rare grin broke across her face as she watches Quill brush up against him.
โฉ
โ
โ
โ โ โ She carefully reaches into her coat, pulling out a couple of small, smooth brass gears she keeps in her pocket, lightly clicking them together in her hand to catch the bird's attention without making any sudden moves.
โฉ
โ
โ
โ โ โ She didnโt look up, her eyes locked on the soldering iron she was using to align some exposed copper wiringโ
โ โ โ She holds out a hand toward Twyla without breaking focus.
โ Wire strippers. The small ones. โ

โ
โ
โ sitting on top of a barrel while watching @rewind_owl mess with a machine โ she wasnโt sure what was happening โธ twyla is merely there to hand tools over if called for.
โ โ soooโฆ why are you doinโ this again.แฃ โโ
โ
โ
โ โ โ She waits until the tool is slapped into her palm, making a quick, precise cut before speaking.
โ Because Iโm not supposed to be here, and I need to get homeโ โ
โ โ โ She murmurs, her voice tight with concentration.
โฉ
โ
โ โ โ
โ . . . Fun? โ
โ โ โ Ekko sighs, glancing around before grabbing a broken clock and a wrench, tossing the objects to him.
โ Here, fix this. โโ โ โ
โ โ โ
โ โ
โ โ โ She sits quietly, silence stretching between them as her words settled. She wasnโt even sure what to say at this point. . . how could she? Besides, anything she said wouldโve probably just made this worseโ

Did you know Barn owls have asymmetrical ears? One ear is slightly higher than the other, which allows them to tell if a sound is coming from above or below.
โ
โ
Did you know that owls have blood cushions in their necks? It stops blood from cutting off to their brains when they twists their heads 270 degrees.
