It seems like they’re fighting us over here so they don’t have to fight us over there. What a twist.

I want to be clear: I would have preferred not to make this video. I am sharing it to explain my upcoming coverage of the race for California state controller, including my efforts to interview incumbent Malia Cohen (D-CA) and why my candidate interview coverage of this office will feature only her challenger, Herb Morgan (R-CA). I would have preferred to produce a piece giving both candidates equal time. Those are journalistic values that guide me every day. After weeks of outreach and back-and-forth with Cohen’s team, a Zoom interview was scheduled, then abruptly canceled by her team. I was told she had no availability to reschedule before the election. Her team said I could submit written questions for Cohen to answer in writing. I respectfully declined because I wanted voters to hear directly from her on camera, with the opportunity for follow-up questions. I told her team multiple times I wanted to ensure voters heard her side, her priorities, and answer why she deserves a second term in office. I made every effort to make that happen. Fairness is always my priority. My goal was to give both candidates the same opportunity to discuss their records, answer meaningful and tough questions, and speak directly to voters. I regret that I could not make that happen, but voters deserve transparency about the process.

There’s not a war on this planet that the United States should be involved in right now, monetarily or militarily.

Also, I hate that I can never run for office, because of my sense of humor.

I want to live in a United States, where people have very little interest in Israel as well as the Middle East. They might read some headline about them and say, "oh that is a shame." And then go back to helping their neighbors and friends.

People don’t understand how good the McDonald restaurants are in Japan. If you have had it, you will never go to another American one. And honestly, that sucks.

I can’t believe that we as a society have just decided that these shitty car washes at Quick Quack are good enough to pay $500 a year for.

It just feels like anything less than a tax strike is silly. California sucks, man.

I like the idea of a Colt Peacemaker on my hip at the gold claim. What is the best trail revolver? I wish someone would just print the top 3 guns for every category. That way I can be sure I’m cool, but also can kill a cougar if I need to.

Effective Altruists have been making massive political donations for years. In 2024 Dustin was Biden/Harris' second largest donor. Their third largest in 2020. SBF was Biden's 3rd largest donor in 2022.

The @BLMca is the most unAmerican thing I’ve ever seen. Just watched an old man get patted down, just trying to go renew his claim like the rest of us. Line out the door, 2 people working. Just absolute trash.

Hey @grok, how many tons of ground beef does Trump say he will import over 90 days at 25% below market price and how many tons of ground beef do McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Burger King chains use collectively in the course of 90 days? Could this be considered a fast food bailout?
Warning ⚠️ this is a STEALTH BAILOUT for the MEAT COMPANIES . 🚨 It's a $555 million stealth subsidy to the multinational beef packing industry and fast food lobby The administration is waiving $554.4 million in tariffs to funnel cheap, frozen beef to McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King, not to lower the price of ground beef at your local grocery store. The fast-food industry is facing severe margin compression and consumer pullback due to inflation. This executive order is a stealth bailout for Quick Service Restaurant corporate margins disguised as grocery price relief for working families. meat counter🚨 —- TRUMP is DELIBERATELY DESTROYING THE U.S. CATTLE HERD The only way to rebuild a cattle herd is for ranchers to hold back heifers (young females) for breeding instead of sending them to slaughter. When ranchers do this, supply tightens and feedlot prices go up.🚨 If you flood the market with cheap imported beef (even for 90 days), what happens to US ranchers? Live cattle futures drop (NCBA CEO "cattle markets have already turned sharply lower this morning"). 🚨 Ranchers who are holding out, trying to rebuild the herd, see prices drop. Their margins, already squeezed by drought and feed costs, collapse. What do ranchers do when prices drop and feed is expensive? They liquidate the herd. They sell their cattle to slaughterhouses at lower prices to stop the bleeding. If ranchers liquidate, the US cattle herd gets EVEN SMALLER 🚨 Who controls the slaughterhouses? The "packer monopoly" as Sen. Tim Sheehy called it. JBS (Brazilian), Tyson, Cargill, National Beef. If domestic herd liquidates, ranchers sell off their cattle to the big packers. The packers get cheap domestic cattle. They pair it with the cheap imported beef from their parent companies or alliances abroad (JBS is Brazilian, they basically control the Brazilian meat export market). JBS stands to make an absolute killing. They can source cheap beef tariff-free from Brazil through their own supply chain, blend it with domestic beef, and sell it at a marginal discount while pocketing the massive tariff waiver savings. 🚨 And if the domestic herd drops further, eventually the US will be structurally dependent on imported beef forever. The US will lose its food security. If you destroy the domestic cattle herd, you consolidate power over the US meat supply into the hands of a few multinational monopolies (JBS, Brazilian-owned; Cargill; etc.). These monopolies can then dictate prices indefinitely. Meanwhile, Trump gets a temporary 25% optics drop in grocery store ground beef for the 60 days leading up to the November election. He saves the GOP House/Senate. Once the domestic herd is liquidated (cows are slaughtered, they are dead) , it takes 3 to 5 years to rebuild a herd (gestation + raising to maturity). So this 90-day window permanently sets back US beef independence by years. This is a massive transfer of wealth from US taxpayers to the meat packing monopoly and foreign agricultural giants (specifically JBS/Brazil). cnbc.com/2026/08/21/trump-gr… thehill.com/homenews/adminis…

5.6 Sol High just completed an audit of OCR for rokhanna.money. I had to OCR bc @RoKhanna intentionally submits paper, not electronic financial disclosures. Here are @RoKhanna's most offensive obfuscated financial disclosures:
Today, instead of using Congress' easy electronic filing system, @RoKhanna once again chose to hand-deliver his financial disclosures on 353 pages of paper that he knows will not be indexed or searchable. Luckily, the OCR pipelines I built for rokhanna.money are chewing on it now.

The House is scheduled to vote this week on a National Defense Authorization that would integrate our military tech & supply chains with Israel’s. Today, the Rules Committee will decide whether my amendment to strip section 219 will get a vote. RT to support the Massie amdt.!

I don’t mean for this to be offensive… but it’s crazy how Ellen Page transformed into a young Joseph Gordon Levitt.
