As a Republican, I voted for Jolly knowing we’d disagree sometimes. But I’d rather argue with him than defend what Donalds would bring: Data centers, environmental damage, and Florida turned into Trump’s corrupt private playground.

If I never was affirmed in not voting for a member of my party in an election, this would do it for me. Ashley thinks @TheDemocrats are enemies to the US constitution but is willing to take the same fraternal stage as @realDonaldTrump and @ByronDonalds. The MAGA ballon can’t be popped fast enough.
I’ve taken an oath four times to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. And we are in a battle with an enemy that is both foreign and domestic with the Democrat Socialists.

One bigger benefit by a midterm that eclipses 2006, is that @realDonaldTrump can join the likes of Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, to be known as warmongering liars that shed American wealth and blood for their own profit. History will judge with clarity.
One benefit of being in the minority: Republicans will go back to voting like conservatives.

Yesterday it was my Republican wife and I. Today, it was my 75 year old Republican mother who put her grandsons’ future first, by casting her vote for @DavidJollyFL.

Today was a first. Twenty-three years ago, I registered to vote. I’ve voted in every election in which I was eligible since. Until today, I had NEVER voted for a Democrat. Nobody who knew me then, including me, would have believed it. But we wouldn’t have believed an increasingly wicked Donald Trump and @ByronDonalds would become the standard-bearers of the Republican Party, either. Reagan Republicans wouldn’t have tolerated one man holding the nomination process hostage or making personal loyalty the measure of political worthiness. Reagan chose his primary rival as his running mate. Today, disagreement is treated as betrayal. The greatest influence on my vote was my wife and our two boys. They are my greatest treasure and my greatest duty. Their future matters more than my allegiance to any party. Having courage to stand up to @realDonaldTrump is why I voted for @DavidJollyFL. Loyalty to Trump is why I refused to vote for @AshleyMoodyFL, and it's why I cast my vote for @MBeltranFL with considerable reluctance. I believe David Jolly understands the struggles of working families. I don’t have that confidence in Byron Donalds. I have serious questions about his business record, accumulated wealth, and credibility. I’m a free-market capitalist. I celebrate wealth created through productivity and real value. But math should math. The Republican in me cringes at the prospect of Democrats governing congress for the next four years. The American in me is horrified by the growing control Donald Trump exercises over our government and the Republican Party. I hope 2026 makes 2006 look modest in history. Sometimes amputation is necessary to save the rest of the body. Today, I chose to amputate my political allegiance so the country I love, and the country my children will inherit, might have an opportunity to heal. I haven’t abandoned Republican principles. I’m refusing to abandon those principles for any one man. Principles > Party. Family > Government. Country > Corruption.

Most Trump voters *checks promises vs trump’s record * have been betrayed.
Scott Presler seems like a cool guy, and works hard for what he believes in, and I can admire that, but there's very little motivation from the voters this year. Maybe that changes in the next 15 days, and if it does, I would be shocked. Most Trump voters I know feel betrayed.

Jimmy Carter never got a second term. Voters looked at the gas prices, the weakness abroad, and the economic mismanagement and decided four years was enough. With a midterm two weeks away, Republicans are about to learn whether voters feel the same way now. If Carter had gotten four more years, it is hard to see how those four years would have looked much different from these, except even Jimmy Carter knew the Russians were the bad guys. ewerickson.substack.com/p/th…

If you are in Kentucky’s 4th congressional district get out there and vote for Jeremy Todd @Jtodd601 ! Unfortunately we lost Thomas Massie in congress due to millions being spent against him by the Israel lobby & the Epstein class, but we can hold KY-4 with Jeremy Todd!

This is the last straw. @AshleyMoodyFL’s continued embrace of @realDonaldTrump and @ByronDonalds has cost her my support. There are THREE Republican voters in my household. All three of us will sit out the #FLSen race. @AngieNixon stands against the American principles I believe in. @AshleyMoodyFL stands with @ByronDonalds and @realDonaldTrump , even when their policies hurt families like mine. I refuse to vote for a Democrat who opposes my principles simply to defeat a Republican who has abandoned them. My family deserves representation, not blind allegiance. Neither candidate has earned our votes.
Let’s Goooooooo!!!!!
