hey guys. this is still really hard for me to post so bare with me.
i got diagnosed with MS nearly a year ago, after about a year of symptoms so bad that it led me to lose my ability to work and study. even with treatment, i spend a lot of my week barely functional 1/
this is why I’m banned from pokemon cards (I FINALLY GOT SUZY DOBY AND LANE THO!!!)

not super traumatic but when I was 16 I had a cardiac stress test that was “abnormal for an adult but might be normal for your age” so they set me to the ER for a peds consult. The guy they sent down was a neonatologist. He just stood there like “I don’t really do this test 🧍🏻♂️”

not hate to op but is the answer not that fanfic being on dedicated platforms makes it easier to nuke fanfic than fanart which is generally posted on standard social media? so not allowing monetization is part of how ao3 protects itself?
I think the framing of this discourse as people supporting artists but hating when fic authors say don’t repost is just disingenuous tbh. people do support my reposting fic in new fandoms or to different platforms where it gets detached from the author
