Happy National Black Cat Day! 🐈⬛🩷
Today, let's continue to spread the word: the only bad luck following black cats, or any cat, is harmful superstition. All of us who are lucky enough to know and love a black cat have so many reasons to celebrate today!
But to truly protect cats of any coat color, we need to address the greatest threat they face: archaic policies rooted in misinformation that put their lives at risk. Today, we hope you'll join us to Share the Truth about cats and the policies that help, not harm: alleycat.org/ShareTheTruth

Downed fences, open gates, trees, flooding, outages
Be sure to leash your dog before letting them outside
Electric fences won’t work if the power’s out
Pets shouldn’t be outside alone go with them and get them back inside fast

IT'S HOT...... PETS DIE OF HEAT STROKE IN LOCKED CARS !!!! Please remember your pet when the temps are climbing. Leave your pet at home ! Keep in mind that the PAVEMENT IS VERY HOT when walking your dog !!! Try to walk your pet on the grass or early AM/PM so not to burn feet!
