I built an open-source Spotify alternative as a student. 26 days after launch, it has 2,500+ users. The first 1,000 took 20 days, and the next 1,500 came in 6, which I still can't wrap my head around. Free. No ads. Windows + macOS. Links below 👇 #buildinpublic #OpenSource

ByTune just crossed 1,500 users. Three weeks ago it had zero. It's the open-source Spotify alternative I built solo: streaming and your own music files in one desktop app, with synced lyrics and no ads. Free on Windows and macOS. Link below 👇 #buildinpublic #OpenSource

I built an open-source Spotify alternative. 1,200+ downloads in just 5days, and it's just me. It streams music and plays your own files, with synced lyrics and zero ads. Free on Windows and macOS. Try it: bytune.space Code: github.com/rishiteja21/ByTun… #buildinpublic
