Dont let daily interactions w people ur forced to be around strip away from your soul. Fake laughs, smiles, ‘oh no way’ sculpt u into how they want u. One of the most difficult things to do because the immediate reaction is being ostracized from groups.

why would you not want to pursue your potential relentlessly? dying with your potential untapped makes no sense. don’t you want to see how far you can take this thing?

your brain is the most neuroplastic in the first 60 minutes after waking up. i promise you: use that window to visualize your dream life. feel it as if it's already real and you will 10x your energy levels. you will become obsessed immediately. and obsession is the cheat code.

a person who commits to something for a thousand days straight becomes a force that most people will encounter once in their lifetime and never forget. a thousand days. hardly anyone can commit to something for thirty. which means the field thins dramatically by day sixty. and by day two hundred you are essentially alone. and by day five hundred the results have started compounding so aggressively that people will use the word talent to describe what is actually just the accumulated residue of a person who refused to leave the room.

my wife and my job are basically the only things I can think about, I love them both so much. I wake up for work and get to see the most beautiful person in the world and then I leave and work on the most important project imaginable and then I come home to her again

For the retards, this is a local model not a global model. You should believe this for yourself not for the world. OBVIOUSLY, 95% of any individual’s situation is completely out of their control. You don’t choose where you were born or who your parents are or whether you have some genetic disease or missing limb. The problem with that truth is that what’s in the 5% vs 95% is not obvious. And if you fixate on the 95% you will actually end up making it 99% because any roadblock you run into you will assume “ah it’s just that 95%” when it’s actually just that you need to level up so you can control it. Which is why believing that you can influence everything that happens if you become good enough, or at least can roll with the punches and make something worthwhile out of it, is the only way you can feel true agency and thus true security. Without this mindset, you will live in a state of perpetual fear or apathy, waiting for the world to happen to you, a slave to the whims of those with this mindset. If you wish to be a pawn, that’s fine. Most people are. But just don’t expect my sympathy when you get moved around like a chess piece.

After you get married, you’re going to meet ‘better’ people than your spouse. You’re going to meet more good-looking people; kinder and more romantic people; more intelligent and funny people. You will meet people who have in abundance what your partner lacks. The mushy and romanticized idea that your partner will be everything to you, and will satisfy all your needs and wants is idolatry. Contentment in marriage is a virtue not often spoken about. You must wake up every day appreciating everything your partner is to you, everything they have, their beauty and the things that made you marry them because if you focus on everything they don’t do well, you’ll always meet better people. Protect your heart! See their best part, and always remember that your commitment to marry is more of a duty than it is of mushy feelings. You have to stay committed even on the days you feel your spouse is no longer the best fit for you… -Buchi

You can usually tell if a woman is wife material pretty early on. If you feel the urge to "save her" she almost definitely isn’t
