It drives me CRAZY how fandom has essentially developed an allergy to conflict in story. Like the only way anyone moves forward in any storyline is brought conflict, through confrontation of that conflict, and through a shift of perspective.
Especially in story format when you only have so much time to convey something. The stronger the emotions the more complicated and twisted the conversation. It’s conflict. It’s unwinding all that, giving it the space to find sense in all the nonsensical
Genuinely if they’re not headed for buddie canon through all this what the hell are they headed for like this is a one train track you can’t jump into another track without someone dying at this point
