Al'hamdulillah, with the regular donations of some charitable souls here & offline we provide essential rations & medical support to 10 widows but this month due to unforeseen financial constraints we have received donation from just one of our donors, we still need immediate help with contributions for the 9 widows who have no source of income & cannot work in any capacity either due to age or medical conditions.
Almost 13 days and funds not accumulated even for a single kit, i miss the old mutuals who were large hearted & generous enough to atleast amplify such causes & some of them even donated anonymously, unless its a controversial, political, sectarian tweet it does not get the attention/amplification it deserves & then we lament about the condition of the umnah, a umnah whch cannot take care of widows needs to introspect deeper.
