New post on my author blog talking about the journey of my so-far-unpublished post-apoc thriller "The Thaw" so far, as there's exciting news to come soon!

They should definitely add this to some sort of document with expectations for participants to know about before the contest starts.
A series of guidelines perhaps… or maybe, I dunno… a code of conduct? 🤭
For our next contest that begins taking books on Nov. 1, the Self-Published Science Fiction Competition is adding a rule. #SPSFC

Two thoughts:
The Irish do have a history of quietly giving money to terrorists.
Also, as an author of literary fiction I'm sure her dozens of readers will be mortified...

Call me petty but I’ve gone back and updated my rating of The Road by Cormac McCarthy on Goodreads to the new lowest possible: 0.25 stars.
I absolutely despised that book from the first page, and it remains my least favourite book I’ve ever read 🤣
I really would like to reach out to some of my indie author friends directly regarding the ARC for my post-apoc book that's (hopefully) coming out next year but I'm too much of an introverted, tactful Brit and I don't want to appear to be bothering people... 😂🫣
Not too late to sign up btw - full blurb is on the form

Had the distinct pleasure of reading this for an ARC and it was bloody brilliant! Tense, exciting and action packed - I couldn’t put it down! And I was guessing the ending until the very end. Superb @ryanpatrickauth
Crush Depth is out today! It's a deep-sea technothriller - think The Hunt for Red October meets Jurassic Park. I've been working on it for a while and I'm incredibly proud of the result. Go check it out!

I was 11 years old on 9/11. It was my second day of secondary school, I remember being picked up by my mum and going into Sainsbury’s - vivid memory of people just standing at the TV displays transfixed at what was showing. Thoughts with my American friends in this sombre day. 🇺🇸
It's a great book! Tense, thrilling and expertly written. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I sense a pattern is forming.
(Usually I don’t really do used books but needs must to scratch my current reading itch…)
You know, it actually makes perfect sense that MrBeast teamed up with James Patterson for whatever the heck this is.

Lazy bank holiday on the sofa and I’m now halfway done with my ARC of @ryanpatrickauth’s CRUSH DEPTH.
This is getting tense and exciting!
Brought my battered, elderly Kindle 4 out of retirement for my next read - @ryanpatrickauth’s upcoming technothriller CRUSH DEPTH! Exciting!!
