Meet Lexi! A WhatsApp AI-assistant that supports speech, sight, and language difficulties.
Lexi can:
- Transcribe any voice note
- Rewrite/summarise text messages
- Convert any text to AI speech
- Analyse and describe images to you
Try Lexi now at dyscribe.ai!
I have about half a dozen projects that are like 95% done and my ADHD just won't let me go any further...
Who's building a matching service where you can hire a neurotypical to help you get across the finish line? 😅
Did everyone just stop posting as much when this place changed to X?
I've installed a plugin that reverts it all back to Twitter and for some reason I feel more like engaging again.
Hey @DyslexiaScotlan, I'm a Scottish entrepreneur building dyscribe.ai - an innovative speech to text tool for those with dyslexia and other speech and language difficulties.
I'm looking for dyslexic volunteers to test the tools and provide feedback.
Could you help?

A linktree for academics.
All your online presence in one link. An interesting tool!
Premature ProductHunt Launch 🚀💦
My boring non-AI "Linktree for Academics" is accidentally live today🎓🔗
Not expecting much, but would appreciate if you had time to have a look and lend some support! 🙏
One link for your academic email signature.

Some thoughts on product, moat, & marketing in AI.
What is the moat for products built on publicly available models?
The answer so far lied in execution.
Build something people want, get to market quickly, find a way to go viral, etc
That game is getting harder now.
More of the Ramen gang getting their deserved recognition 👏🏻
This arrived just now: @simonda1ey sent over some incredibly beautiful HackerCabin swag, hand-crafted by @jmckinven.
The indie hacker scene is full of amazingly talented and kind makers and community builders.
I feel fortunate to be a part of it!
📢 I've decided to pivot and niche down.
New focus is building a solid set of AI powered tools to support #dyslexia and other language difficulties.
All-in on dyscribe.ai 🗣️✨
I'm learning to build this myself with NoCode.

Introducing Diction.so✨
Your words. Made better.
Choose a style, speak your mind, let Diction figure out the rest 🗣️✨🗒️
Think voice-to-text with a sprinkle of magic.
It's still a WIP so output feedback would be appreciated 🙏
Export to @NotionHQ coming soon.
Pretty sure net zero people asked for this...
Ever needed to turn a word or phrase into 2 emojis? (No? Just me?)
Well now you can!
Built this to save time with a visual nav menu I'm working on.
Now it's my gift to you.

Can anyone with #dyslexia tell me which of these two fonts is easier to read?
1) is @LexendFonts
2) is OpenDyslexic
The designer in me prefers Lexend, but I'd like to go for which is most functional.
Opinions from non-dyslexics welcome!
This is cool! I joined the Ramen gang back in October and it's been one of the better investments of my entrepreneurial journey (had a few stinkers...).
@charlierward is a shining example of a great community builder. Congrats on the recognition! 👏
Lil milestone: ramenclub.so was in The Telegraph today 🤠

If you're like me and obsess about colour contrast and accessibility, @danielcranney 's @ColorHubHQ has a sneaky contrast checker tool that's the best I've used.
Can't believe I hadn't found it earlier.

Love seeing how excited these two are to work on these projects. I'd follow both to see some real fast building and shipping in public.
We love seeing Indie Hackers making waves!
Two amazing Remotion builders you need to follow on their journey:

Fellow neuropreneurs/entrepreneuros, any tips for task paralysis?
I've got the next stage of my project fully mapped out from start to finish... in my head.
Getting it out of there and into action feels impossible.

The usefulness of Threads won't become apparent until Twitter has another outage. Everyone is over there primed to post and now just need a reason to do so.
Can't discredit the value in convenience of access.
Coffee shops are just wrappers for espresso machines.
We can all pay to have our own at home. We can do the barista training. Once done we have unlimited coffee. Yet there's cafes everywhere... why is that?
Convenience.
