International football, get back in the sea where you belong! For now at least. It’s Cardiff’s time again and I don’t know what sort of year you guys are having, but it probably doesn’t compare to the sort of run Jack Moylan is on. He’s having a moment roathboy.com/jack-moylan-is-…
He would be mad if he was interested, but four years at Aston Villa now and you never know. If you’re Manchester United, Emery is your first call. Offer him the job and promise to stay out of his way while he cooks. He’s an outstanding manager
Not too much cause for concern with regards to the Cardiff players heading out of contract next summer, but 2028 is a different matter. Joel Colwill, Dylan Lawlor, Alex Robertson and Will Fish, the future of the football club, all have around 18 months left on their current deals
The entitlement of Manchester United fans is something to behold, despite being dreadful for a long time. That they’re not supposed to be this shit, like they haven’t wasted untold money on a succession of underwhelming managers and uninspiring players, with no plan or ethos
Madine on joining Cardiff: ‘I didn't want go at all, but the club was in financial trouble and managed to get a crazy sum for me. I can't blame them for not turning down a big price tag that I know I was never worth. It helped the club out and Bolton is bigger than Gary Madine.’
That was a proper Joel Colwill in the trenches sort of game today. It was right up his street and he was excellent
That was an incredibly satisfying win. On a filthy day, whoever adjusted to the conditions better was going to win and Birmingham never got to grips with it. Cardiff were well up for it, even though they had to rejig the whole team before kick off. A thoroughly deserved victory
I feel like a few days of heavy rain has effectively written off park football for the rest of the year. It’s just topping up from now on

The German club now have a "Fan Mode" on their app. When activated, the app measures the time the screen stays locked during matches.
Fans earn points for every minute they do not use their phones. The more points you earn, the more chance you have of winning a prize. This includes club store vouchers, jerseys and more. 🎁

Crawley have made an approach to Steve Morison to become their next manager.
League Two bottom side sacked Colin Kazim-Richards this week with Kevin Blackwell made interim boss.
Ex Wales striker Morison managed Cardiff in the Championship before spells at Hornchurch & Sutton
It was inevitable that BBM v Callum Robinson was going to come to a head. His pride has been battered for 18 months, so I’m surprised it’s taken this long. It doesn’t reflect well on either side, could’ve have been handled better and didn’t need to tip over into the public domain
Michael Carrick knew what he was letting himself in for, but it was still a great opportunity for him. Failing at Man Utd is never a stain on any manager’s CV because it’s a known flawed enterprise. His reputation will only be enhanced and he will leave them where he found them
