Again he isn’t saying Duke doesn’t love basketball, he’s saying in Storrs there isn’t anything to do other than basketball. It’s a continuation of this quote from Ray Allen

The funniest thing about this is all the Duke fans (who love to say they don’t think about UConn at all but still wound up here) not understanding what Khamenia is saying. Ray Allen said it 30 years ago, Storrs is UConn, and UConn has basketball. There’s no city outside of campus
What’s #UConn’s selling point in the transfer portal?
For Nik Khamenia, it wasn’t about bells or whistles when he left Duke, but finding a town revolving solely around hoops.
For Silas Demary the year before, he left a Football School (Georgia) looking for a Basketball School
I can finally retire Fight Night Champion. Still a perfect game
To everyone who stayed in our corner:
Fight Night is coming back. 🥊♥️
#FightNight
First, Novig is dumb as fuck. Second, things called “The Transfer Portal and NIL” kinda didn’t exist when Saban started so he couldn’t say, bring all his good players from his last school and pay for other good ones to come fill the roster holes
It falls apart in many places but nowhere more obviously than both of these conferences getting one playoff bid. You have the last three national champions in one conference, and I believe zero playoff *appearances* in the other.
(Also in a 4 team playoff if both teams won the rest of the schedule they’d play in the SEC championship and if they split the series 1-1 they’d both make the playoff and the Big 12 would yell into the void for a few weeks)
Yeah it’s kind of wild that we pay a fuck ton of taxes and get a whole slew of government services and safety nets to keep people from having their only option be crime
These are the 5 safest states to live in for 2026, according to WalletHub 👀
1.Vermont
2.Massachusetts
3.Maine
4.New Hampshire
5.Connecticut
First, not a single one of these things is worth the power or water required to utilize AI. Second. I don’t need “AI” to do those things, wouldn’t the whole point of a groundbreaking technology be that I can do things I could never dream of instead of basic tasks I find boring?
I find these takes really confusing.
you have a 150 IQ+ tireless genius living in your computer. it can use your browser and read your email and access any file you want. it won't complain if you give it the most tedious administrative tasks. it is willing to work 24/7 for less than minimum wage. it can work unsupervised for hours at a time.
and you can't think of any way to put it to use?
are you completely lacking in imagination or do you enjoy mundane administrative tasks? you enjoy paying parking tickets and triaging emails and manually unsubscribing from spam and vetting credit card payments and canceling subscriptions and renegotiating insurance? you like doing that?
