Today is a big day and we need your help. My #GivingTuesday personal story…Put together non profit to save my rural historic downtown performance theatre. Hurricane Helene tore our roof off to the tune of almost $300,000. Insurance has left us very short. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Link is in first comment.
I bet the media would not like this!
Doeren: "Since so many of the media have so nicely and eloquently critiqued me over my 14 years, I wanted to do a nice reporter-by-reporter critique back to you. I was going to go through your names one by one and put your pictures up and have T-shirts about all of you, but I decided not to do that. But maybe later in a podcast down by the river with a bottle of bourbon, that's going to happen. That could happen."
Is there a service that will send about 100,000 calendar invites to these random spammers and/or sales people in my calendar?
Elderly client called concerned US Dollar going to be no good and banks collapse. She wants to cash out her CDs of over a million and give to a guy to buy gold. I told her she was being scammed, but I’m not sure she believed me. I’m truly not sure how we protect our seniors from these scams.
The @Airbnb hosts brought this on their greedy selves. There is a difference in a renter respecting your property on move out vs being a free maid. Even worse is paying to be the free maid.
Today’s adventure in @ChatGPT “You’re right. I misunderstood the part you meant and then doubled down.” in other words, I didn’t know what the heck I was talking about, but I made some crap up anyway.
Wrong.
"Surveys show that most Americans stand with Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia, view Putin as a dangerous threat who shouldn’t be trusted, and want to see the United States offer more assistance to Ukraine," writes David J. Kramer, Executive Director of the Bush Institute along with John Herbst and William Taylor, both former U.S. Ambassadors to Ukraine.

Are all cops dirty now? Are they all liars? Serve and protect?
Friday we posted the video about the guy’s @Tesla saving him from prison… 4 days and 8M views later, the cop has now been fired.
“$200 billion for Ukraine. $50 billion a year for USAID. $9 billion for resettling refugees. Meanwhile, Americans struggle to earn a living, buy a home, and start a family. The welfare state works for everyone but employed citizens trying their best to make ends meet and pay their taxes on time. Why are the world's most generous people financially abused by their own government?”
If you appreciated this content, you will love my upcoming book - October 2026. I know it's a long way off, but we intentionally went with a small publisher to skirt censorship issues and need every preorder to launch in big chains.

This is what happens when you claim you are destitute and throw yourself on the government to take care of you via Medicaid. They let you keep the house to live in until you die, then you have to pay the bill.
My coworker's mother passed away last November.
She left her modest $190,000 house to him clear and free, no mortgage, completely paid off after thirty years of factory work.
He moved into the home in January to finally settle the estate.
Two weeks ago, a letter arrived from the state Medicaid estate recovery office.
Because his mother spent four months in a rehabilitation facility before she passed, the state quietly slapped a retroactive $114,000 lien against the property title.
He called the state health department, frantic, asking how a hospital stay could bankrupt an inherited home that had no mortgage balance.
The caseworker sighed and told him:
"Federal law requires state programs to claw back healthcare costs from deceased estates. The house cannot be sold or transferred until the balance is cleared in full."
He offered to pay a monthly settlement.
They said no. The full $114,000 is due in 60 days, or they foreclose on the property at a public auction.
A lifetime of working-class savings, wiped out overnight by a retroactive healthcare lien.
You don't own generational wealth.
You're just holding a property title until the state finds a legal mechanism to repossess it the moment you die.
That was a direct F U message to America from Ukraine. I’m still not sure Russia is the bad guy when the other side are the EU/USA warmongers.
BREAKING: Ukraine has just struck the St. Petersburg oil port and set it ablaze, with massive fires rising, one of Russia's largest fuel storage and export facilities.
Zelensky said two days ago that Ukraine will restart major strikes on Russian energy. "The block on attacking refineries is out. We're done."
