36 years a “Tourist” I sing,I shout,I wear a shirt…if that boils yer piss so be it 🤷♂️UTFR
This can’t be true 😳
🚨💣 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: AUDIO LOG has been released for MacAllister & Madueke’s altercation 😳
🗣️ Referee: “Take a look at that please, both players heads together”
🗣️ VAR Assistant: “Not much contact, we recommend a yellow card for both players”
🗣️ Referee: “Noni has already been booked”
🗣️ VAR Assistant: “Book Timber instead, and a yellow for MacAllister.
This is quite poor from the referee.
Certainly makes you think 🤔
The refereeing Liverpool have been subjected to, particularly at Anfield, is genuinely staggering. And I’m tired of legitimate criticism being dismissed as “sour grapes” before anyone even bothers to look at the evidence.
Paul Tomkins has researched this extensively, going back decades and some of his findings are genuinely ridiculous.
Consider these stats from his April 2026 study:
• ZERO opposition players have received a foul-related DOGSO red card at Anfield since 2009. That’s 325 home league games without an opponent being sent off for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity through a foul.
• 3 Liverpool players received DOGSO red cards at Anfield in just 28 games under Slot. More than opposition players received at Anfield in the previous 25 years combined.
• Liverpool haven’t received a penalty in the opening 15 minutes of a league match with fans present since December 2012. Man City received 14 (!!) in that same period.
• Liverpool went 305 consecutive league matches between 2015 & 2023 without an opposition player receiving a 2nd yellow. That’s 8 years. Home or away.
• Since VAR was introduced, Liverpool have received just 2 VAR-awarded penalties for fouls. Man City received 11. Liverpool have also had 7 awarded against them.
• Liverpool received ZERO subjective VAR overturns in their favour before the 28th minute across approximately 260 matches. Man United received 7, Arsenal 6 & Man City 6.
• Salah averaged just 0.83 fouls won per 90 minutes, ranking outside the top 2,000 players in Tomkins’ study. Anyone who watched Salah knows how ridiculous that is given how frequently he’s grabbed, pulled & manhandled.
• Liverpool’s average foul free-kicks won dropped from around 12-13 per game before Klopp to just 9 after his arrival. Only Sheffield United recorded fewer in Tomkins’ comparison.
• Only 51% of Liverpool’s penalties were awarded at Anfield, compared to approximately 63% at home across the league. Some home advantage, eh?
And perhaps the most damning stat of all:
Of the 56 highly contentious league incidents Tomkins identified against Liverpool in the VAR era, 53 (95%) happened when the match was level or separated by just 1 goal.
These are game-changing decisions. Penalties, red cards & incidents that can genuinely decide matches, title races & entire seasons.
Think about Tarkowski’s challenge on Mac Allister, Ødegaard practically playing basketball at Anfield, Senesi’s handball or Salah getting manhandled every other week without a whistle. Oh, and literally disallowing a completely valid goal at Tottenham (no, YOU let it go).
At what point do we stop pretending this is normal?
And what frustrates me most is how quickly people dismiss the conversation as “sour grapes.” As if being a Liverpool supporter somehow invalidates the evidence. You can be biased & still be absolutely right.
I’m not suggesting these stats automatically prove some grand conspiracy, but the disparities are extraordinary. And when you actually watch the incidents themselves, it’s difficult to understand how some of these decisions are even possible.
We’re talking about penalties & red cards. Literally the most consequential decisions a referee can make. And somehow Liverpool consistently find themselves on the wrong end of them, even at Anfield - especially at Anfield - where we’re supposedly benefiting from this enormous home advantage.
Why shouldn’t that be questioned?
Credit to Paul Tomkins for actually doing the research & documenting this over the years.

But sure, “sour grapes.”

If the Ref hasn’t saw it isn’t that the exact reason why VAR was brought in to fckn see it 🤷♂️
Dermot Gallagher on the Isak pull incident vs Arsenal:
"It depends which angle you watch it from. The first angle, you see nothing. That is the referee's angle.
"The second angle, which is what VAR looks at, and it is a lot more damning.
"VAR looks at it in slow motion, which is another thing against him. In normal speed, he grabs and grabs him quickly but let's go. Does he do enough [for a penalty]?
"What is Timber's intention? He is on the wrong side of him. Does he do enough to stop him? He [Isak] will say yes, as he is close to the ball.
"VAR would be accused of re-refereeing if it is a penalty. It is a case of damned if they do and damned if they don't.
"It has to be the case of on-field. The more I watch it, the more I think he [Timber] has taken a big chance and has got lucky."
Absolute bullshit!! Impacted the players ability to get the ball also denied an obvious goal-scoring opportunity 100% Pen,how he’s a professional Ref with views like this is beyond me 🤷♂️
🚨🗣️Referee Andy Madley on his controversial decisions during Arsenal vs Liverpool.
🗣️“The penalty incident was actually not a mistake because VAR reviewed it multiple times before we came to the conclusion that it wasn't a penalty.
He held onto his shirt, but there wasn't enough contact to warrant a penalty, so we decided to overturn the initial impression and let the game continue.
I was never biased in my judgement. Everything I called was the right decision in my opinion. My responsibility is to officiate the game fairly, regardless of which teams are involved.
I understand that supporters will always have different opinions, especially in a game of this magnitude. But we cannot make decisions based on the noise from the crowd or pressure from the players.
VAR is there to support the referee, not to create unnecessary controversy. We reviewed the situation, discussed it and stood by our decision.
At the end of the day, I respect both clubs, but my job is to apply the laws of the game. That's exactly what I believe we did.”

🚨🎙️ Roy Keane rips into referee Andy Madley for his officiating decisions after Liverpool 0–1 Arsenal at Anfield:
🗣️ "Look, I don't want to stand here and take anything away from Arsenal. They came to Anfield, put their bodies on the line, got the goal, and defended like their lives depended on it. Job well done to them, credit where it’s due.
But we have to tell the truth about what we just watched out there. Andy Madley tonight... honest to God, it was a shocker. Absolute shocker.
This is a massive game—first against third, Anfield packed out, global audience—and you’ve got a referee who looks completely out of his depth. Matches of this magnitude need to be managed by referees who understand the weight of the occasion. You can't be waving play on for two clear penalty shouts in the first half like you're refereeing a Sunday League park game! Jurrien Timber grabbing a handful of shirt inside the box—how is VAR not stepping in there? How is Madley standing five yards away and missing that?
Then in the second half, buying every little bit of contact, letting players stay down for three minutes to disrupt the tempo, and failing to control the game. It ruins the spectacle. When you come to a stadium like this for a top-of-the-table clash, you expect top-level officiating, not someone guessing his way through 90 minutes. He lost control of it, plain and simple, and at this level, that is nowhere near good enough."
What’s the point of VAR if players have to make more of it to get Pens…yet we all see it replayed 🤷♂️

🚨𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Sheikh Mansour sends a Strong Warning to the Premier League Board ahead of Man-city Appeal.
“Remember when Serie A relegated their biggest club, Juventus? The league fell off so badly that nobody barely watches it again. Even when Juventus returned, the league has continued struggling till today.
That will exactly be the same thing that will happen if you relegate Manchester City. You need to look at the bigger picture before destroying the very league we are trying to protect.
Everything we have done is for the greater good and betterment of the league, we and the 1billion city fans are the face of premier league in Europe. Premier league must not fall”
