“Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.” - RR

Unpopular Observation:
Some people are more committed to talking about their dreams than actually pursuing them.

Getting that book to produce income, attract clients, open doors, and make an impact?
That requires a strategy. And strategy starts before the writing.
The most dangerous person in business isn't the most talented.
It's the one who can tolerate being bad at something long enough to get good at it.
You might be one failure away from getting it right. Or not.
There's no way to know.
That's why consistency beats talent.
You don't necessarily need to get BETTER at what you do. (Maybe you do / that's for you to answer?)
But certainly, you need to get better at making sure people KNOW how good you are.
A generalist competes on price.
A specialist competes on expertise.
An authority gets chosen before the competition even gets a chance.
You can have 20 years of experience and lose a client to someone with 2.
Not because they're better.
Because the client believes they're better.
Perception matters.
YES!
"Supposing there was no intelligence behind the universe, no creative mind. In that case, nobody designed my brain for the purpose of thinking. It is merely that when the atoms inside my skull happen, for physical or chemical reasons, to arrange themselves in a certain way, this gives me, as a by-product, the sensation I call thought. But, if so, how can I trust my own thinking to be true? It's like upsetting a milk jug and hoping that the way it splashes itself will give you a map of London. But if I can't trust my own thinking, of course I can't trust the arguments leading to Atheism, and therefore have no reason to be an Atheist, or anything else. Unless I believe in God, I cannot believe in thought: so I can never use thought to disbelieve in God." — C.S. Lewis
Most people start writing their book way too early.
Before you write Chapter 1, answer 3 questions:
What do I want this book to do for me?
Who exactly do I want to reach?
What hook will make that person NEED to read it?
Strategy before writing.
Fantastic advice. The window closes very quickly.
Holy moly, he nails this.
From ages 1-5, kids are glorified pets. Love you unconditionally, super cute. Depend on you for everything.
From ages 13 and beyond, they are young adults. They are who they are. In the best of scenarios, they love you deeply but still rather be around their friends. And that will be forever.
Your book isn't a product to sell. It's a platform to build. Traditional publishing teaches you to think small. Self-publishing teaches you to think like a CEO.

Traditional publishers want you to BUY your own books. Self-publishing with the right strategy? Your book becomes your credibility engine. Go from invisible to inevitable.

The editors of the world's most prestigious medical journals are sounding the alarm, and nobody is listening.
"We have peer reviewed, high impact editors in most of the journals that are the most high impact, saying that they don't believe what is being published in those journals is trustworthy anymore."
"The BMJ, The Lancet, all of those editors have come out and said, we have a huge problem. We can't replicate this research and we actually don't even know who did the research."
"Everywhere we've looked for corruption, we've found it."
