Introducing Inbox Zero Mail. The open-source Superhuman alternative. - Fast and keyboard-first - Unified inbox across Gmail and Outlook - Split inboxes - AI categorization and drafts - Bulk unsubscribe - Team collaboration Runs on web, desktop, and native iOS. Free to use. AI is $20/mo, half Superhuman’s price. Open source, so you can self-host for free too. This isn't an overnight vibe-coded project. I've been running Inbox Zero for 3 years: 12k GitHub stars, 25k+ sign-ups, and enterprise customers. Until today, Inbox Zero was an AI assistant for Gmail and Outlook. It still is. But now we have our own email app too. We're SOC 2 compliant, and have undergone multiple pentests, including recent ones from OpenAI and Snyk using unreleased cyber models. Try it: getinboxzero.com

Why would I pay $15/month for your software when I can plan, build, review, improve, host, launch, scale, secure, patch, monitor and debug it myself?

Thoughts on plateaus: 1. It’s really a game of managing momentum 2. Use math (like @asmartbear’s max mrr calc) + gut to see them coming 3. The longer you’re in them the harder they are to break out of 4. Doing the same things in the same ways won’t break you out 5. Examine the basics objectively (volume, retention, positioning, pm-fit, high/low value customer segments, etc) 6. If you keep hitting them then it’s probably a core fundamental issue 7. You can’t optimize your way out (not long term at least) 8. Chasing what was is less effective than where you’re going (mindset and energy needed to break you out) 9. Early plateaus are different than later ones…early = it’s not working yet 10. Very slow growth is basically a plateau with same challenges
No matter who you are, you'll have "plateaus" in your work and life... It is very important that you push through those.

I've been to about 7 Europe MicroConf conferences since 2018, with around 100 successful SaaS founders each year. Tactics have changed, but one thing hasn't: most successful businesses market to ordinary people and solve a painful problem. Not to Indie Hackers who now vibe code their own solutions. Nothing has changed really, just tactics (SEO in this case)

To all of you losing your minds on this site: behold. Now go listen to ep. 841 of @startupspod . You’re welcome.
quick update on how this is going: they have gone back to linear because maintaining their internal tool that they vibecoded was taking away from their actual work’s bandwidth.

Why Reykjavik for MicroConf Europe? KEF is a major hub between North America and Europe, so it's easier to reach than you'd think. The city's compact and walkable, the food is great, and the geothermal hot springs are world-class. Join us Sept 21-23: microconf.com/europe

Replying to @earthlingworks
@earthlingworks runs two SaaS products. He added friction to both trial funnels and one doubled its conversion rate, the other cratered. He breaks down the factors that make friction help rather than hurt in episode 837 with @robwalling.👇 startupsfortherestofus.com/e…

Huh - TinySeed Fund 1 is top 3% of all 2019 vintage funds on Carta (we have > 1x DPI). Kinda insane that less than half of funds in that vintage has returned even a single dollar.

A founder's VA dove into Claude Code, eager to learn. Within two days, she'd deleted all his leads. She wasn't careless — she was smart, motivated, and taught herself the tool. The tool just had full access to dangerous operations with no guardrails. I hosted a roundtable at @MicroConf on "Managing Cybernetic Organisms" — hiring and managing teams that are part human, part AI agent. The takeaway: job descriptions, onboarding, guardrails, feedback loops — same discipline whether the worker is carbon or silicon. The founders who treat agent management as an organizational design problem will build the most effective teams. The ones who treat it as an engineering problem will keep deleting their own leads. movingavg.com/essays/managin… #MicroConf #AIStrategy #FounderLife #Hiring
