Now even TypeScript is reading my .env variables 😭
Motherload solves the typesafe .env problem (getting autocompletion on process.env), no schemas required. 1. Import a .env file 2. That's it

Ask your agents where their time is spent and they'll break it down for ya. Great for seeing the bottlenecks, improving your AGENTS.md and skills and see where maybe you overengineered a bit too much 🥲

Cool to know rich people still have the same procrastination problems as everyone else 🤣 And we all try to solve it with... MORE APPS!
experimenting with a lil personal project: an AI-native macOS dock with custom modes (writing, building, etc.) to help me stay focused my agent is able to customize mode behavior and add new modes, it uses jev to classify my activity + notifications in real time & act on them

I love the productivity increase that AI gives developers. WizTree, a Windows-only app for the longest time finally has a MacOS build! Genuinely the coolest thing!

github.com/getopenpost/openp… is literally RIGHT HERE! 🤣
Good morning. Can more people create a Postiz alternative and launch it? Many people tag me, so it boosts my product! BTW, if you want to save time (and tokens) building it, I found a decent open-source repository you can clone. Thank you!

Hmmm
Paying $99/month was getting a little too expensive... So I built my own open source alternative that now costs me LESS THAN $1/month to run. YES, 99x CHEAPER! 🤯 Introducing Open Post, an open source alternative to Post Bridge that lets you post to all your social media accounts from one dashboard. I'll be open sourcing it on GitHub this coming week once I finish testing each social media integration. And just to be clear... This isn't about taking business away from an existing SaaS. I simply wanted to build something cheaper for myself that does the exact same thing. If you want a ready-to-use solution and don't mind paying $40-$100/month, definitely check out the original SaaS! But if you prefer self-hosting and saving money, Open Post is coming soon for free. 🚀

Aaaaand OpenPost has now reached 750 ⭐ on GitHub! Slow period as we're just getting through tons of bugs and polishing existing features rather than marketing, but happy with this! And our users seem happy too! I just noticed we reached 100 forks as well!

3 features in OpenPost's release today came from outside contributors: analytics export, approval notifications, Russian locale. 8 outside PRs from 6 people landed this month. Everyone asks if an open-source, self-hosted project will be alive next year. This is the answer!

Would be better to start from scratch rather than reverse engineering however the hell it currently "works"
why is nobody reverse engineering claude code cli and create a drop-in replacement in rust for it

Remote Code Rewrites!
perfect time to hack all php websites and rewrite them in something better

You can now crosspost your X, LinkedIn, Threads, or even Facebook (if you really wanted to) posts to dev-null, the new (really cool and good-looking) social media platform for developers!

Issues > PRs in 2026
a weird thing about OSS pull requests these days is we don't know what model was used for it and our internal setup provides better tools to the agent so they're almost always worse than sending the prompt ourselves it's mostly useful for environments we cannot recreate

We need Mistral Large 4 and Muse Spark Open in OpenCode Go ASAP!!

Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with the amount of things I have to get done that I end up doing so little about each one and procrastinating... I really don't know how to fix this

We've lost the plot 😭
New from Vercel Labs: tsc-ts TypeScript was written in TypeScript Then rewritten in Go We ported it back to TypeScript Compiled it with scriptc And it's 2-4x faster than tsgo

Alright, benchmarks are a mess... Who's fixing these?
Gemini 4 Argon is now available in Devin Desktop and CLI. On FrontierCode 1.1, Gemini 4 Argon scores 60.5%, making it the highest performing Gemini model on the leaderboard. Through October 27th it is available at 75% off for Devin users.

I swear to God if Siri is still the bottleneck here...
