As a Nigerian living in the US for close to a decade, one of the reasons Nigerians and Africans at large don't excel beyond our peers of other races is not racism, as most of us would like to believe.
(Don't get me wrong. Yes, it's there, but it's not the reason)
The truth is, we don't understand the power of community.
We have been unable to form a formidable environment to thrive. America is a land of opportunities for the brave, but only if you can unlock the secret behind the foundation of the country itself. You, as an individual, cannot unlock that secret unless you join others with a common goal.
America is not built for individualism; it's built for communities, togetherness, unity, and the courageous.

This is really embarrassing.
On election day in Osun, while party members were exhausted from months of campaigning and anxiously awaiting results, you chose to post a skit. At the time, INEC results already showed Adeleke leading by over 25,000 votes.
That night, I called to explain how demoralising that was, especially coming from the Youth Leader. Instead of listening, you got upset and ended the call.
Look at the reactions to your latest post, because you are competing and fighting with someone. Must your personal issues come before the party and the President?
Dayo, you need friends who will tell you the truth. At a time when millions are making sacrifices and trusting that reforms will deliver results, this kind of conduct is not helpful. Do better Dayo!
