It’s been a year since the date that Cali came home from the hospital for the first time. Last night was the first time she was off the ventilator for the ENTIRE night. I’m so damn proud of my baby!

Jaxon Smith-Njigba's 5 regular season games with 150+ yards receiving are most in Seahawks history. Steve Largent and Tyler Lockett each had 4

As expected, the Seahawks activated RB Zach Charbonnet off IR. They had to do so by today, which marks 21 days since they designated him to return to practice.
Seattle also placed TE Elijah Arroyo on IR. Per @AdamSchefter, he's having season-ending shoulder surgery today.

Headline "Seattle not a lock" for NBA expansion.
Reality is Adam Silver is probably being pressured to get the expansion price raised at least close to Vegas.
The issue is arena based. Seattle has an arena, controlled by the group favored to bring the team here.

John Stanton: "We've increased payroll each of the last five years." Correct.
BUT here is the context he doesn't mention:
Over the last six years, the #Mariners have also had a payroll averaging $29 million LESS than the AVERAGE MLB payroll (they spent $15.5 million less than the AVG MLB payroll this season).
This year's payroll of $167.9 million is only $7.1 million more than the team's payroll in 2017 (a 4.4% increase over nine years). With normal inflation, 2017's payroll would translate to a $220 million payroll today, $52 million more than what the M's actually spent this season:
2021: $83.8 mil (25th, $47.6 mil less than the avg MLB payroll)
2022: $113.9 (22nd, $36.6 mil less than avg MLB payroll)
2023: $128.0 (19th, $38.4 mil less than avg MLB payroll)
2024: $149.3 (16th, $22.6 mil less than avg MLB payroll)
2025: $165.6 (15th, $13.1 mil less than avg MLB payroll)
2026: $167.9 (16th, $15.5 mil less than avg MLB payroll)
That's why it's nasty because 90% of the successful creators were never them, but their persona is on a pedestal now
His gravity makes a lot of other plays happen, and he could've had 2 TDs last week, but Drew didn't see him. Give it time

Rap: Sam Darnold (glute) recovering faster than anyone anticipated, “pretty good chance” he returns to practice in some capacity in Week 3.
Week 4 "seems like" more likely target for his return.

The NBA and YouTube are now deep in negotiations about simulcasting almost all of their games for $1+ billion beginning in 2027-28, per @SBJ.
It would launch with 20-25 teams, then jump to the entire league’s local broadcast teams once deals are put into place across the board.
