Shut out 16-0 in a game with major NFC South implications. Four interceptions, 0-for-12 on third down, and 324 rushing yards allowed to a team that didn't complete a pass. At 3-5, this team needs more than accountability. It needs answers. Madrid is next. #RiseUp
Falcons keys to victory from @MPJohnson79 on @929TheGame:
1. Be prepared for Tampa's pressure
2. Make Tampa prove they can pass
3. Exploit mismatches at TE
4. Keep Bijan involved
For me, protecting Penix is priority No. 1. Win that and the rest follows. #RiseUp
My Sunday Selections:
1. Mayfield scramble 1st downs over ATL screens
2. Pass protection over run game
3. London 100+ receiving over Robinson
4. Daniels over Bates
Protecting Penix and limiting Mayfield's mobility will be huge today.
@MPJohnson79 @929TheGame
281 rushing yards allowed a week after giving up 399. Add 3-for-18 on third down and 5 sacks, and Tech got beat on both lines. At 2-6, they'd have to win out to reach a bowl. Tough season.
Big NFC South matchup today in Tampa. A win gets the Falcons back to .500 and right in the middle of the division race. Establish the run, protect Penix and keep the pressure on Mayfield. #RiseUp
My All-Time Movie Baseball Team:
1. Hayes - CF
2. Benny "The Jet" - SS
3. Hobbs - RF
4. Leak - LF
5. Haywood - DH
6. Elliot - 1B
7. Dorn - 3B
8. Crash Davis - C
9. Scales - 2B
SP: Steve Nebraska
CL: Ricky Vaughn

Halloween in New Orleans. A win puts the Hawks back above .500 and makes it two straight after the three-game skid. Same energy as Thursday, and take care of business on the road. #TrueToAtlanta

Tech has led at halftime in five of seven games and is just 2-3 in those. Tonight is about finishing. Pitt's lost three straight, so there's an opening on Halloween night. Go Jackets!
That's how you respond. Down early on the second night of a back-to-back, and this time they finished it. Skid's over.
No surprises here. Bringing back Acuña and Albies was an easy call. Now the real work begins for AA: a starter behind Sale, a shortstop and an everyday bat in LF. Time to build a roster that can contend in October. #ForTheA
Called the Brewers to close it out in Game 5. Missed the score, but got the winner right.
Milwaukee beats Tampa Bay 4-1. No home runs needed, just timely hitting and pitching.
The @Brewers are World Series champions for the first time in franchise history. #WorldSeries

Hawks fall 129-117 to Miami. Third straight loss.
Bright spots: Kingston Flemings with 23/5/5 and Jalen Johnson with 12/9/11.
But allowing 129 and failing to execute late won't win games. Cleveland tomorrow on the back-to-back. Need a response. #TrueToAtlanta
Game 5 prediction: Missed on Game 4, but I'm sticking with Milwaukee. Misiorowski on regular rest vs. Rasmussen on three days' rest. @Brewers 5-3, and their first World Series title tonight. #WorldSeries
Love seeing this side of @Bijan5Robinson and @DrakeLondon_. That chemistry shows up on the field too. They're the only RB-WR duo ever to each top 150 yards in the same game three times. With both signed through 2030, Atlanta's offensive core is in place. #RiseUp
"That's exactly why I wanted to stay here. You'll be the first to ever do it. I don't care where you're at [on] the totem pole of this team, you're going to be the first to ever do it. And that means something. I know this city will go up if we do that."

Back home tonight against Miami. The Heat are 0-4, but Giannis and Bam make them dangerous inside. After two straight losses in Houston, Atlanta needs to move the ball, defend the paint and get back on track. #TrueToAtlanta

Missed on my Game 4 prediction. Had the @Brewers winning 6-3 and completing the sweep.
Instead, the @RaysBaseball battled back for a 4-3 walk-off win in 12 innings to keep the #WorldSeries alive.
Milwaukee still leads 3-1, but Tampa Bay isn't going quietly. On to Game 5.
They waited for LaMelo to leave town
The Charlotte Hornets will retire Muggsy Bogues' No. 1 jersey on Feb. 11, per @ShamsCharania.
The shortest player in NBA history at 5-foot-3, Bogues spent 10 of his 14 seasons in Charlotte and remains the franchise leader in assists, steals and minutes played.
Game 4 prediction: @Brewers 6, @RaysBaseball 3.
Milwaukee finishes the sweep and wins its first World Series. Chourio sets the tone, @Wcontreras42 delivers a big hit, and the bullpen closes it out.
Eight straight postseason wins. This team has earned its moment. #WorldSeries
