This poll is a Cotton campaign internal js
Senator Tom Cotton heads into Election Day with a commanding lead in Arkansas, 51% to 37%, in a new GrayHouse poll of likely voters. With undecided voters who lean toward a candidate included, Cotton’s lead grows to 16 points, 55% to 39%.
Cotton’s margin has also widened since our early-October poll, as Hallie Shoffner’s support slips in the final stretch.

Fox: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

"Why is the incentive profit?...Yeah it's nice to have competition, but competition about what? Competition about having the best healthcare system in the world? No. Competition about higher education?...No. Competition to do what? Competition to make a profit. And it's the whole profit side of things that's absolutely crucial. And that's what has to be controlled."

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."

Unconscionable that Republicans are using bureaucratic hurdles to deliberately deprive people of food. Sadly, Arkansas & Gov. Sanders have been at the forefront of hardheartedness. And French Hill & Tom Cotton both voted for it.

Tax breaks for economic development are wasteful & ineffective. Arkansas Issue 3 is a pig in a poke that opens door for poorly managed corporate welfare schemes, put on the ballot by legislators who've encouraged new data centers.

Issue 3 is about giving enormous welfare to retailers. Sponsor Jonathan Dismang, now a utility lobbyist, said as much. Would a Sam’s Club like to keep the sales tax it collects? You bet it would. Socialized supermarkets! Don’t look for one in ‘desert.’ arkansasbusiness.com/article…
