After presenting RoxxMarket at Solana Fall School: Demo Day, I stress-tested it and found settlement and refund issues.
They’re fixed. RoxxMarket is live on Devnet: roxxcli.com
Thanks @solana_devs for the chance to build and present.
Solana Fall School 2026 | Week 1, Day 3
What I learned:
- Votor replaces TowerBFT voting.
- Validators exchange votes directly, without vote transactions.
- Alpenglow targets ~150ms finality.
Thanks @TheWattenhofer for the Sep 4 session. Alpenglow is now live on mainnet.
Solana Fall School 2026 | Week 1, Day 2
What I learned:
- Rust ownership and borrowing.
- Anchor account constraints.
- PDA signing with seeds and bumps.
- Added a per-transaction withdrawal limit to a lamports vault.
- Tested below, at & above cap.

Fable 5.1 is a massive upgrade, but the bigger story is the economics.
Cache reads are 75% cheaper than Fable 5, narrowing the real-world cost gap with GPT-5.6 Sol.
Costs drop ~25% for typical workloads and up to 45% for highly agentic ones.
The limits make more sense now.
Replying to @claudeai
Cache reads with Fable 5.1 cost 75% less than Fable 5’s.
This reduces the cost of the model in practice by around 25% for typical workloads, and up to 45% for highly agentic ones.
