Counter-strafing is easy to learn but difficult to master. It’s also a mechanic that most players take for granted in Valorant. Here are important insights (from a Radiant) to help understand counter-strafing + movement at a fundamental level (and to master it):

I genuinely think there's something off about Valorant ranked this act. It's like some invisible line was crossed and now suddenly the game makes no sense at all... Not even trying to cope. I don't think I've ever felt this way before.

Honestly, I think the Bandit is not necessarily "underpowered" for a pistol. It's just that between using a Ghost/Classic for pistol rounds and a Sheriff/Classic/Shorty on ecos, the Bandit doesn't feel good enough to replace any of the existing guns or open a new playstyle.
