One of the wildest parts ab yesterday is that bc cell service was so bad, I was getting updates about what was happening from friends who weren’t there. I learned that there was a shooter from screenshots sent to me from Twitter. So I don’t know what’s happening as I’m living it. – at Kansas City, MO

I think I’ll continue to process this in waves. I woke up this morning thinking about the crying baby I pulled to hide with me behind the sign, the cops yelling DON’T LET HIM IN as a shooter tried to get into union station, a lady standing on a cooler to try to bring some calm. – at Kansas City, MO

Our hearts are broken for our listener Vince who got a call from his sister. Four members of their family were shot at the parade. Two are critical, including one of the kids.

Omg I was at the rally and the shooting. I was inside when everybody started running so I started running. I barricaded behind a large sign with like 15 other traumatized people. I’m ok—this is hands down the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced. – at Kansas City, MO

Now hearing testimony from economists from the Show Me Institute. They are saying that this ordinance will lead to fewer landlords participating in the housing market. They also suggest that KC look to Minneapolis as an example of how to produce more affordable housing. – at Kansas City, MO
