❗ Important ❗ Along with the whole Solana network, we at RPC Fast go through Alpenglow switch. We've been preparing our infra thoroughly to ensure the smooth transition. 1. What needed from you? - Please upgrade to the latest TxStream and Yellowstone gRPC clients. 2. Aside from it, you'll now need to: - group blocks by (slot, bank_id), instead of just slot. - confirmed=finalized with Alpenglow: it's better to switch to 'finalized', because 'confirmed' will be deprecated further on. If you subscribe to both types, keep 'finalized' preferrably to avoid extra bandwidth spending. - remember, that vote transactions will disappear from Txstream and Yellowstone gRPC streams, which will reduce bandwidth, so you might need to change the block txs amount alert settings. - be aware that your transactions won't land in 1–2 slots after activation (~400ms). However, they will be retried and land further on in bunch. 3.
