Me encanta! 🤖

El hecho de que alguien tropiece y pierda su camino, no significa que esté perdido para siempre. A veces, todos necesitamos un poco de ayuda. Profesor X - Patrick Stewart 🥲

Grey's Anatomy is named after Ellen Pompeo's character. For years, ABC still paid her male co-star, Patrick Dempsey, more. In the video below, Pompeo says what stung. "I was salty that they didn't value me as much as they valued him." She admits he was the bigger star. He had done about 13 TV pilots; Grey's was her first. "He did deserve that money," she says. But "only a man can have 13 failed TV pilots and their quote still keeps going up." "I was the namesake of the show," she says. "I deserved the same, and then that was harder to get." Her first contract ran out as she turned 40. Back then, she says, an actress of 40 was considered finished. So she re-signed: "This is the most money I'm ever going to make." Dempsey left the show in 2015. Pompeo's next deal paid $575,000 an episode plus a bonus, about $20 million a year. At the time, no actress in a TV drama earned more. When the number went public, her manager asked her: "Are you ready to be unpopular?" Women, she says, are "most likely getting undervalued compared to what they're offering men." So women should always push for more, she says. "All anyone can say is no." So did ABC pay Dempsey more for his experience, or for being a man?

Jennifer Aniston was earning $1,000,000 per episode of Friends. Her own mother sold her story against her wishes, wasn’t invited to her wedding to Brad Pitt, and never said sorry. In the video below, Aniston reveals the one simple sentence her mother never said to her. Her mother, Nancy, was a model who raised Jennifer alone after her father walked out. Jennifer says her mom used to point out that her eyes were too close together and her nose was too big. Still, for years they were inseparable. Then Friends made Jennifer one of the most famous women in the world. In the mid-90s, her mother gave an interview about her to a tabloid TV show. In 1999, she published a whole book about raising her famous daughter. Jennifer cut her off. She refused to read the book. When she married Brad Pitt in 2000, her father was there. Her mother was not invited and never even met her son-in-law. Even then, Jennifer still called her mother warm, loving and the one who told her to keep going when her career got rough. All she wanted to hear from her was simple: “I’m sorry, I get it.” They didn’t speak for almost 10 years. Would you cut off your own mother for selling your story, or is family worth forgiving no matter what?

The world No. 1 in women's tennis, Aryna Sabalenka, unleashes a devastating and unfiltered statement: "It's vital to protect fairness. Biologically, men are much stronger than women. It's not fair. It's not equality. It's not women's sports if we let biological men compete against us." She sides with Sophie Cunningham and sends a clear message: women are not going to keep staying silent while they steal our titles, podiums, and opportunities from us.
