Mittels Daten des UBS Wealth Reports ermittelte das "Institut für konservative Wirtschaftspolitik" die Vermögensentwicklung der Deutschen in den letzten fünf Jahren. Das Medianvermögen sank (kaufkraftbereinigt) um 11.300 auf nur noch 45.500 Euro. Damit belegt Deutschland im internationalen Vergleich nur noch den 30. Platz. Mittlerweile liegen sogar Länder wie Slowenien, Portugal und Griechenland vor der Bundesrepublik.
