genlayer is becoming active before mainnet, and i think that changes what the wait means.
let's look at it:
→ $GEN arrives first, then mainnet comes later. pre-mainnet staking covers the time in between.
→ you earn 1 point per $GEN per day. the rate is the same for everyone.
→ so your rank is simply your balance × your time. stake more or stay longer and you climb.
→ unclaimed airdrop $GEN is staked for you and earns points while it’s locked.
→ $GEN you stake in the portal can be withdrawn any time.
→ the leaderboard is live, and it decides who starts as a validator at mainnet, backed by foundation.
@GenLayer is building a court for the internet, and a court is only as good as the people running it. this picks them by who showed up early and stayed, not by who shouted the loudest.

Hackers are using AI to find new ways into your wallet.
We're using AI to shut them out.
Numbers: We're now blacklisting 3× as many risky domains per day compared to H1 2026.
That's a 300% increase in 2 quarters.
At Bitget Wallet, we've dedicated significant resources to using AI to protect our users.
1. Web analysis: Detecting cloned & impersonation websites, identifying potential threats to blacklist
2. Signature execution sims: Running simulations that identify discrepancies between website claims versus what the signature actually authorizes, exposing hidden, high-risk approvals
3. Domain intelligence: Analyzing domain age, characteristics & connections to known malicious sites to flag suspicious new domains
These 3 key approaches run 24/7 as cyberthreats don't rest too.
That being said, always remain alert.
AI can help reduce threats & risks.
As the owner of your wallet, always stay SAFU & never click on unverified links, free bitcoin ads, or enter your keys anywhere.

"it's been a wild ride. especially with what's been going on with AI, it's been pretty chaotic
the defi however has held up extremely well
we've seen a lot of AI-assisted hacks, attacks, exploits, all sorts of things"
"but you didn't see any major defi side"

well, that's how strong defi has gotten

One of the most embarrassing moments of my life lasted less than 30 seconds.
A few years ago, I stood up to speak in front of a small group of people.
Nothing important.
No huge audience.
Just a room full of ordinary people.
My mind went completely blank.
My heart started racing.
I stumbled through a few words, forgot what I wanted to say, and sat back down wishing the floor would swallow me.
For weeks, I replayed that moment in my head.
The easiest thing would have been to avoid speaking again.
Instead, I made a different decision.
I started forcing myself into uncomfortable situations.
I asked questions in meetings.
I introduced myself to strangers.
I volunteered to speak when every part of me wanted to stay quiet.
Most of those attempts were awkward.
Some were painful.
A few were so bad I wanted to disappear all over again.
But each attempt made the next one easier.
Today, I'm still not the most confident speaker in the room.
The difference is that I no longer see fear as a stop sign.
I see it as a signal that growth is on the other side.
My redemption arc wasn't becoming fearless.
It was discovering that confidence comes after action, not before it.
That's why Rally's message resonates with me.
The people who improve the most aren't always the most talented.
They're the ones willing to look foolish, learn from it, and keep showing up anyway.
