I’ve just joined Twitter again for the first time in years. Anything much happening around here? (I was coaxed into coming back to follow the Barkley Marathons #bm100!!)

Did I tell you I’ve written a book?
I finished it about a year ago but have struggled to get the time to complete the illustrations. So now I’m asking for support. This book will give so much to young kids. Seeing a real life adventure story come to life! Launching on Friday 🤩
On Friday my crowdfunding campaign will begin 🥳🥳 My book is all about dreaming big and continuing through the hard times which is exactly what I am doing with this project. I’d love all the support I can get 🥰 #running #Africa #elephants #illustrator
Here’s a little sneak peak at the first couple of pages of my book. This is a very rough mock-up to get an idea of layout. I can’t wait to get stuck in to this!!! #thisgirlcan #adventurebook #africarun
Next week I’m launching a crowdfunding campaign to get my children’s book illustrated. It’s so important to show our little ones that they can dream and they can achieve. This is going to be epic!!! 🤩 #adventure #running

Out in early October, Lily Dyu’s (@noisycrow) beautiful children’s book 'Fantastic Female Adventurers' features tales from 14 women who've explored the world, including our very own Beth French. We adore @chellie_carroll's illustration of Beth’s swim across the Molokai Channel.
