Our remote reading session has been very successful. As Rwanda is facing the challenge of the rain season mostly in remote area, our reading sessions with Inshuti z’igitabo have shown some significant impact. A book in the area we work with is considered a precious gift.

We aim to change the narrative among young people to cultivate the habit of reading. Our community library is fully operational from Monday to Friday at the YEGO youth centre in @NyabihuDistrict . Our Sunday session takes place in Mukamira, near the former Lagroniche Hotel.

Our community of young readers has been growing every day since our reading session shifted from being on Saturday to Sunday to our new location in Mukamira. The parents suggested Sunday as a flexible day for their children because Saturday service for Adventist church.
