College baseball is scary right now. I've never seen it this way. Go where you are wanted and can develop.

Juaron Watts-Brown is dialed in - through 5+ innings he's notched 9 strikeouts to just 1 walk. SL has been filthy all day. OkState looking to even up this big series.

College Pitchers🚨 The reality of college baseball is that most players won't get meaningful innings in their first couple years. This can be seen as a devastating blow or an opportunity to continue improving. "Be so good they can't ignore you." 1/

It's interesting how some pitchers can throw 10 strikes in a row when battling a hitter in a long at bat, but then walk a batter on 4 pitches the next inning. This is a focus / mental issue, not a mechanics one. Imagine if you could focus like that on every pitch.🤯

"That confusion, anger and self-pity turned into motivation to prove that I am good enough to play at the next level." @dylantebrake is now a New York Met. This is his story.

As seasons end and people look for reasons of why or blame to place, I hope they consider the following before the pop off on some coach who did nothing but try their hardest for an athlete for the last 4 years: a thread 🧵

Q from a coach: How do you help a hitter who hits well in the cage but gets paralyzed at the plate, and won’t swing the bat in games? If you know a hitter (or lineup) who suffers from this, I have 4 simple actions you can take to help them break out. A short thread 🧵

There are a lot of ways to throw 90 mph, but far less ways to throw 102+ mph A common theme amongst many of the hardest throwers is deep retraction (i.e. "flip up"). Here's why it contributes to velocity and how to train it⬇️ [Thread🧵] 1/
