Another awesome story of the 2026 season has been Gary Woodland. After recovering from brain surgery and battling PTSD, he’s just qualified for his first Tour Championship since 2019 by finishing T4 at the BMW Championship.
His press conference has it all. Emotion, celebration, and then he also had a laugh about his top off the 9th tee.
Gary is playing some incredible golf and it’s so good to see him make it to East Lake. What a story it would be if he won the FedExCup!

Remember, LIV Golf events get next to no coverage in the UK press/media, yet this many people still show up & create a fantastic atmosphere at the JCB. Maybe the Golf establishment/media have prevailed (hope not) but I’ve covered all 60 events, and the growth has been phenomenal.
