I know I’m quiet these days but I just wanted to share it here in case anyone cared and I know a few of you like Deltarune so: I wrote something. If you do read it, I’d love to hear any thoughts archiveofourown.org/works/67…

They were trying to tell me on Twitter before I saw this that he was the weak link of the film acting wise. Nice try sirens

the “welcome home stranger,” scene is still on my mind. telemachus is realizing his father is right in front him after so long and the way tom’s eyes showed every emotion in that scene.

Only this freak Nolan would do this entirely practical and it completely works. The cyclops is real and I’m scared of him

Samantha Morton on the reactions to her performance in ‘THE ODYSSEY’: “I’ve had ups and downs in my career — you work for a bit and then you’re not working for a bit. You are criticized for your physicality. It’s a tricky game. Even meeting [Christopher Nolan] was enough; everything else is very special, very personal. It validates the fact that I’m good at what I do and I care. I’m very grateful and I take it very seriously.” (bit.ly/4wOWP0L)

He was great in this role and perfectly cast but at the same time I wanted him to be Achilles just to see a bunch of losers get irrationally upset

Every one of the minor characters has a scene like this where they just completely steal the show. Happens again and again

Actually insane how great the odyssey was. A year and a half of discourse for genuinely nothing. Expertly crafted, emotional, tense, well paced, exceeded my expectations and then some. Strongly recommend

Gonna make a full, long review of my thoughts on chapter 5 later today stay tuned. Honestly in general people are kinda underrating it because even narratively I think it’s still one of the stronger chapters

Probably the only person on earth to have played both of the Alan Wakes and Deltarune so I just have to live with this connection
