If the Wizard Lizard returns in Ascendance then they should make it act more like its 2nd gen iteration, being bit passive and more of a trickster.
Make its icon on the map disappear whenever it goes invisible or changing area. Gives me more of a reason to use paint balls again.
G rank Chameleos could poison the entire area to suffocate hunters. It would turn invisible and hide whilst your hunters health slowly drains. After a while, if you'd fail to locate Chameleos your hunter would faint.

Frontier pioneered many things you see today in MH as It was a very experimental title
Not everything worked, but all of was very unique
I also suggest anyone to follow @ryenlee12 he post regularly about stuff like this
Before Extreme Style Heatcannon was a thing, HBG could shoot out a beam by injecting the "Heat Cannon Sigil" into the weapon.
This gave HBG a Gravios like beam that could be used when you've filled your gauge.
Funnily enough this was nicknamed "グラビーム" (Grabeam).

What's funny is that Malfestio and Toricless released a few days apart.

For anyone who wants an explanation behind this:
In Frontier, one of the items you can carve from G-rank Velocidrome, more specifically G-rank HC Velocidrome, is a special sac that contains substances with various ailments.

In addition to the Farcaster Breath, the G-rank Velocidrome had other breath-based attacks: Defense Down Breath and Soiled Breath. It also apparently had Magnetic Breath (The status ailment that Rukodiora and a few others can cause), though it doesn't have any magnetic abilities.

Velocidrome having a sac that stores a substance that it spits is pretty explainable and fits with what we know about the monster, but the various breath-based attacks... Soiled and Defense Down are pretty easy to explain, but the other two... not so much. teapaw.org/BannedDino/status/1402…

Some theorize that the warmer seasons in the past is when the Giaprey first evolved and that some Velociprey took that form to migrate and adapt to new environments. Others think that Giaprey are simply a recently discovered species that were hiding in secluded areas.

A friend of mine had theorized that maybe these Velocidromes raided a base camp and ate a bunch of random items, including a few Farcasters.
