Why not serialize ballots, then post the data online in each election so you can check your serial number to see how you voted. AND so you can see the total vote count, serial by serial. Of course, you wouldn't know other people's serials, but you could at least match the total vote with the individual count, and verify that your vote counted the way you cast it?
