Feel like I'm an evolutionary selector while coding with AI.

I realize that we are at a historic juncture—a moment when the impact of AI on software and cybersecurity is intensifying. There is a sense that a major event, one that will shock many, is fast approaching.

In the last few days I have had my agents write a gitlab and core git engine replacement in Common Lisp. common-lisp.net/ingot gitlab.common-lisp.net/clo/a…

Interesting
behold, an evolutionary LISP kernel which uses llms to self-modify/hot-reload running application without downtime once all properties pass. just insert tokens, dreams and ambitions.

After one hour of debugging network issue, my AI agents continue to work finally after nearly one week.

This is what the Arbitrum community should seriously reflect on

We can disagree on pricing and that’s something that can be modified over time too. But here’s the point: running a chain is a profitable business and RH has proven that they don’t need Solana’s distribution to do it (they don’t need Ethereum’s Arbitrum One’s distribution either but the thing is Arbitrum + Ethereum allows them to run their own chain). So we can disagree from today to tomorrow on what the correct business model to run a chain is and how to price but the main point is RH doesn’t need you or any other chain and there’s just literally no reason for them to give you a cut.

When my son cried and said to me, “I don’t want to go to elementary school,” I felt so powerless. He thinks elementary school is too hard (that’s the conclusion he reached after we told him about all the things he needs to pay attention to, and I can’t just take leave for him as casually as I did in kindergarten). Actually, last night I also couldn’t sleep because he is about to start school and face a new environment.

Most people know what @arbitrum Aligned Entities (AAE) get. What people keep asking is when will they redistribute that revenue to the $ARB Token and its tokenholders. As of now, the $ARB Token and holders do not benefit from it as all that revenue goes back to the AAEs.

Arbitrum and $ARB token are two different things. Arbitrum can’t succeed if $ARB fails
OK I’ll try. The Arbitrum DAO revenue from the Robinhood chain over the last 24 hours is more than $100k. Build good tech, support strong partners and the business model for L2s is very good. Requires crypto to continue to grow. Arbitrum will be the underlying tech that powers the execution of onchain finance.

You know who truly controls the “DAO”. All that revenue ends up going back to the Arbitrum Aligned Entities via “proposals”... Im not saying buybacks are the correct solution but they (internal teams) should find a way to redistribute revnue with the holders and find a value accrual mechanism for the token (Hint: Governance is not a value accrual mechanism) . Arbitrum Governance has been significantly weak as shown by the need to lower quorum, consolidating governance meeting into one due to low participation. As Paulo mentioned, even with the consolidation, the monthly governance meetings only have 10 people and the majority of them are required to be there due to their roles.

Upgrading my agent development process after leaving Claude Code develop environment. It took some effort, but I learned a lot.

Got banned by Anthropic, which push me to think what abilities are mine and what are not. It makes me to re-explore the open solutions which I ignored because I thought that claude (code) perform the best.

CC is quite good at writing common lisp than Codex according to my experience.

Cursor's "Import from Claude Code" makes me uncomfortable because I thought it would import the current project, but it actually imports all projects.

Agree
I’ve proposed what I believe is a win-win fix for Ethereum’s rollup revenue a few times: Ethereum needs to provide more for its most successful L2s, and charge them a premium for it. Ethereum should adopt its largest rollups in the sense that a critical bug in Arbitrum, Base, or Robinhood Chain should be treated as an Ethereum vulnerability and trigger an L1 fork just like an L1 bug would. This fixes the ecosystem's biggest pain points in three ways: 1. It's an incredibly valuable feature, and Ethereum could name its price. 2. The main reason L2s keep security councils around today is to handle emergency vulnerabilities. If L1 acts as the security backstop, L2s can safely get rid of them. 3. Several L1 folks have been pushing for based/native rollups, motivated by the belief that L1 should have more control of and value capture from its L2s. But the technical designs are problematic and none of them have any commercial traction. Rather than trying to build momentum from scratch, Ethereum should just monetize the thriving L2s that already exist.
