๐งต the Luka Austin pinky swear handshake thread ๐งต
starting, of course, with the very first one! 11/15/25 at Bucks
takeaways!
- Collin, Quentin, Mamu, Vando, Matisse, Jake - take a bow, loves
- Collin showed why we got him! he really picked up the slack from Austin tonight. his ballhandling/shot creation is so useful
- Quentin was great on defense and I hope he finds his 3 ball soon
- Walker was pretty on defense today when he was in position. seems to establish position but not get rebounds sometimes - maybe bc he's boxing out and no one else is coming to get the board lol
- Mamu was just doing a bit of everything again as usual

๐จ Quinton Grimes on Vanderbilt stepping up after sitting the first four games
โHeโs a true professional. Even though he hasnโt been playing the first four games, heโs the first one in the gym, stays after, gets up extra shots, gets the extra conditioning in. Heโs a great player. He has a lot for us defensively, rebounding, guarding one through five, kind of getting out past the ball. So I feel like heโs been ready. Iโve seen it. Iโve known him since we were children, kids and stuff like that. So I know he was going to be number one ready for a game like this for sure.โ

โVando is always going to play hard. He's always going to impact the game with just his effort. I thought he did that tonight.โ - Lakers coach JJ Redick on Jarred Vanderbiltโs minutes.
Said he showed a clip at half to the team of Vando successfully fronting Lopez in the post.
