Frontier agentic coding: #Codex currently takes 9 minutes to start, generates ~50gb of app logs every hour, and spawns hundreds of subagents per session. Also leaves zombie processes like orphaned rg consuming CPUs turning my laptop into a 90w heater. Fun & not fun.

Walking around the apartment with an umbilical cord between my laptop and a large USB HDD so data spikes don't freeze the machine (and docker) every ~20 mins. Using lower compression ratios so the .codex logs get archived faster than they're created 🙅‍♂️

Ever notice “lay” is two words, same sound and spelling, but different verb & tense? “The truth lay ahead.” “They lay the book down.” The former: past tense of “lie”. The latter: present tense of “lay”. It's a perfect #homonym. Just another reason for English language reform.

Incredible news. Potential turning point against the shape-shifting villain behind the global pandemic. In the multi-bn-year arms race between cells & viruses, this would be a historic step. sciencedaily.com/releases/20…

“She started by laying out an array of pornographic images across his desk.” Inspiring leadership: a woman tackling a dodged and buried issue with practicality. Solving for, not moralizing. Production of and mass exposure to degrading #porn causes harm. theguardian.com/society/2025…

Yes! Enable Dumbphone mode via a hardware switch: kill distractions and dopamine farming in an instant. That huge innovation plus the revolutionary supply chain they've developed over years. Amazing brand and product that's leading by example.

Latest #ChatGPT update on Android removes speech timer, making #VoiceToText even worse. This keyboard app with 1k users and no reviews is an ideal fix. Faster than #Whisper. No time limit. Works in any app. Uses #Grok API. $3 lifetime & #OpenSource play.google.com/store/apps/d…

Sad: Android has a *hardcoded* 256KB clipboard limit while iPhones are constrained only by memory. $1k+ Android phones with 12GB RAM can't copy/paste long articles, but years old iPhones can copy megabytes. 90s Throwback. Open ecosystem, you say? #Android #iPhone #FreeYourAndroid
