Near Intents blocked the transfer of the stolen Bitget funds
people on X are crying about how bad this is.
"Isn't the protocol supposed to be decentralized?! How could this happen?"
Here is how:
the transfers took place on ETH, XRP, and TRX - all public, open blockchains
this has nothing to do with the Near Intents protocol itself.
once a transaction is settled within the protocol, tracking it would have been nearly impossible.
SHIELD screens deposits and withdrawals, which are public by design
none of this required exposing confidential balances.
the very fact that hackers attempted to use Near Intents speaks volumes about the protocol's high level of transaction privacy.
it is easy to preach about decentralization when it isn't your money that got stolen
anyone would be relieved to see the funds frozen if it were their own bags on the line.
that said, this situation provided a healthy excuse for a logical Near pullback before the next leg up.
How hard will this hit the price?
$3.6 is possible, though not guaranteed
$4 also serves as a solid psychological level
a drop below that is unlikely.
for anyone who missed the move - here is your window to start scaling in via DCA.

Crypto packs a storyline into a single day that Netflix would need an entire season to tell.. 🧵
Back in August, Trump says they're looking for a legal path for Hyperliquid to enter the US
Yesterday, Druckenmiller mentions Hyperliquid on X for the first time ever.
ICE announces plans to build a US trading venue on top of it. Musk jumps into the thread with a single word: "Interesting." HYPE surges nearly 20% in a day, coming right up against its ATH
Crypto chats start whispering that we've finally seen another bottom
Then, just hours after Druckenmiller's and Musk's posts, the Binance hack story breaks
A few hours later, Musk, apparently in high spirits, makes his fourth crypto-related comment of the day this time trolling Binance.
Then CZ reminds him that he owns more than $1 billion worth of SpaceX shares and asks for a little support. Yi He immediately steps in to clarify that everything is fine: revenue is sufficient, and they won't need to sell shares to cover the losses
Just a series of coincidences? Of course.
In crypto, everything always happens at just the right time
There's no evidence of any coordinated storyline. But I'd already give the screenwriter behind this season an Oscar

PumpFun has added TON
there haven’t been any major runners on this network for a while, and GRAM (the former TON token) is barely hanging on
still, this move opens the door to seamless degen trading on TON as well...
Nnw all that’s left is for FOMO App to add TON too, so we can hunt for potential runners that reach $1M+ in market cap!

hot take: we don’t just need better coding agents
we need to stop being their full-time assistants 💀
you ask an agent to fix one ticket, then spend the next hour chasing CI failures, feeding it context, and checking whether it actually did the job
that’s the coordination problem @superplanehq is tackling with its software factory for engineering teams from picking tasks to verifying results before anything ships.
if this layer works reliably, the real productivity gains might come from everything happening around the code...
🤝 Paid partnership
Last month, 52% of the pull requests our team merged were automated through SuperPlane.
Today, we’re launching @superplanehq 1.0: an open source software factory for engineering teams.
We built it because using a coding agent can feel like becoming its assistant.
Starting sessions. Checking its work. Chasing failing CI.
SuperPlane takes on that coordination:
- Scans your backlog and proactively picks up tickets suited to automation.
- Runs a coding agent and verifies the result.
Works through CI failures and review feedback.
- Your team reviews the evidence and decides what ships.
The setup, instructions, and standards are shared across the team. When someone improves the process, everyone benefits.
Choose your agents and models. Run it on your own infrastructure.
We spent more than a decade building CI/CD at Semaphore. We’ve seen how much teams can accomplish when routine work runs reliably in the background.
Now we’re bringing that approach to coding agents.
Here’s how it works:

Machi Big Brother has lost all his money on paper trading.
he also has just $4,517.70 left on Hyperliquid.
he sold another Mutant Ape NFT at a loss to fund his further trading...

be honest with me!
you were planning to heroically buy Bitcoin and altcoins when the price dropped below $80K, but I bet you ended up selling everything instead???

base is getting harder to ignore..
@gmgnai Global Championship now has a dedicated @base Track, where traders compete on a leaderboard by trading eligible base coins through Oct 26
the winner gets $20K + fast-track entry to the London Grand Final on Nov 16.
and the stakes at the Grand Final?
a custom Aston Martin Vantage for the overall champion
🫡 @jessepollak
🤝 Paid partnership
The Base Track in @gmgnai’s Global Championship runs through October 26, with $20K and a fast-track spot at the London finals up for grabs.
This comes right after the Base Meme Summit, where @jessepollak talked about bringing more traders and communities to @base.
GMGN is also hosting a Base Day livestream on October 26, so there's something to follow even if you're sitting out the competition :)
A few things to remember if you're entering:
1. $2K starting cap across all competition wallets
2. No outside top-ups after joining
3. All trades must go through GMGN
4. Only realized PnL counts in the final rankings
At the finals, traders will have a chance to compete for a custom Aston Martin Vantage.
This is a good example of how Base keeps pushing its meme ecosystem.
So if you're entering, check out the full details and rules, otherwise I'll see you on the stream: gmgn.ai/ggc

the largest crypto fund is changing direction
today, news broke that a16z, one of the driving forces behind the crypto market, is dropping “Crypto” from its name and shifting its focus to other trending sectors
and there’s nothing wrong with that, because crypto as a money-making opportunity is increasingly turning into a casino, with automated strategies taking up another major part of the market
the casino sector already has its own established investors, while automated strategies don’t require massive investments.
so, here’s where we stand: essentially, all the major innovations have already been developed, and what’s left is to refine the existing infrastructure - something the teams behind the protocols that are still alive are doing a pretty good job of.

token burns make headlines
product execution is what keeps my attention!
GRVT has completed its first buyback, permanently removing 1.1M ethereum:0xad29f2723fcdbcf665f210f25e06f97477e417cf from circulation
the process is verifiable onchain, while future buybacks are intended to be monthly and remain discretionary.
with GRVT 2.0 bringing yield generation and multi-market trading into one self-custodial account, the real test is whether the product can attract lasting demand!
that’s the metric I’ll be watching

We're building proactive healthcare agents that handle every step of care for people with chronic conditions.
Our mission is to end chronic suffering. Today, we begin with migraines.
