Listen to Navi Pillay's reaction to receiving the news of her 2026 peace prize at an international conference in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice – more specifically in the famous Courtroom 600 where the WWII war criminals trials took place.
Pillay was greeted with a standing ovation that she says she will never forget.

May Bapu’s timeless message keep guiding us towards a better society and a Viksit Bharat.

On #GandhiJayanti , we remember a man we have reduced to rituals. Today, when violence, hatred, and bigotry have become part of everyday expression, Gandhi must mean reclaiming truth, nonviolence, compassion, and human dignity—in our public lives as well as our private ones.
Spoke at Amity University, Noida on September 30 exploring , Ahimsa not as mere spiritual injunction, but as a foundational ethic and lived ontology—a way of being that shapes our relational existence.

What is important is not so much how long you live as whether you live a meaningful life. This doesn’t mean accumulating money and fame, but being of service to your fellow human beings. It means helping others if you can, but even if you can’t do that, at least not harming them.
Looking forward to speaking at @RLAC_DU, @UnivofDelhi tomorrow, 22 September on how Gandhi’s voice remains a living resource to rekindle humanity amidst the deep fissures of political and moral apathy.
The New Delhi Declaration 2026 adopted unanimously. India’s diplomatic prowess ensured that the differences did not derail the BRICS process. The world now looks to BRICS to translate words into action—cooperation, growth & peace. #BRICS2026
Very proud to see makhana and sattu from my state Bihar included in a uniquely thought of Swadeshi welcome kit for the media at #BRICKSsummit2026 in New Delhi.
