Thank you to all families that advocated for the Supt. Carvalho & staff to create District POLICY to mitigate the harm Co-Location of CHARTER SCHOOLS does to LAUSD Students & Communities! Read more here: bit.ly/FFW10_2_23
This policy would include guidelines prohibiting co-locations at Community Schools, BSAP Schools, &the 100 Priority Schools,&would increase oversight &accountability of all co-locations.The charter lobby is fighting hard against this resolution,&it will take our support to pass.

UPDATE
WRIGHT SCHOLARS READ!!! Ms. Davis’ 7th-grade class participated in a book tasting event hosted by our leadership scholars and Ms. Jacques, our College and Career Coach and Journalism teacher. The event took place in our new library. Scholars had the opportunity to browse
books and participate in a raffle to win books for their libraries at home.

This was intended for Wright's school leader. The sentiment of this card is hate-laden and blatantly states that the neighborhood would be better off if the school's largely black and brown population was no longer there. District leaders, do you share these sentiments?
