(Betty) Such sad news - little Janet has passed away. 🌈 Colin found her yesterday morning when he went to give her some breakfast. She was in a greenhouse on the plot and just looked as though she was sleeping. She was about 16 years old and was born at the allotments. She hadn't been ill but had slowed down a bit in her old age. Janet was the last of the Magnificent Seven cats (and today is the anniversary of Dorothy Dumpling's passing) 🌈 Colin and I and all who cared for her will have such lovely memories of her. Rest in Peace Sweet Girl xxx 🌈

So just over a month ago we adopted Libby and Lucy into our family. We had some hard days with scared girls, and tons of work getting them to follow our routines and learn to walk on leash. Our community rallied to help build a fence, and things settled. How are things now? Simply….awesome. Libby and Lucy look for us when we come home, they are just as excited as our dogs when we wake up in the morning, and Lucy, the most shut down, has exploded out of her shell this last week. People ask- is it harder with five versus three? Well we have way more hair (daily vacuuming) and way less couch room, but it’s going near perfect. #dogs
