US inflation came in hotter than expected in September.
Headline CPI: 3.7% y/y (forecast 3.6%, prior 3.4%)
Core CPI: 2.6% y/y (forecast 2.5%, prior 2.4%)
Gasoline jumped 9.1% in a month, about half of the monthly rise.
