What is currently under construction will soon be another advancement in cell therapy at BP – Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo. Since 2016, when we inaugurated the unit at Hospital BP Mirante with 7 beds, we have been consistently building one of the most relevant programs in the country. In 2019, we carried out the first expansion at Hospital BP, with the addition of 10 new beds. In 2021, we took another leap forward, with 16 more beds dedicated to hematology and cell therapy. This growth reflects the work of a highly specialized and committed team — and translates into real impact: 📊 200 cell therapies performed in 2024, including bone marrow transplants and CAR-T therapy 📊 237 cell therapies in 2025, including bone marrow transplants and CAR-T therapy 📊 More than 1,500 transplants since 2016, in adult and pediatric patients For the seventh consecutive year, we are the center that performs the most transplants in Greater São Paulo — and we are among those that perform the most transplants in Brazil and Latin America. Today, BP is consolidating itself as one of the main cell therapy centers in the country and the region. The images show the behind-the-scenes of another expansion that will be delivered in May — an important step to expand capacity, innovation and access to highly complex therapies. More than physical growth, it is the continuation of a project built with purpose, excellence and a vision for the future. We continue to build. Literally. #CellTherapy #BoneMarrowTransplant #BMT #Hematology #LeadershipInHealth #HighComplexityMedicine #MedicalExcellence #BPMirante

I am deeply honored and excited to announce my appointment as the new Editor-in-Chief of eJHaem, the Gold Open Access journal of the British Society for Haematology. Since its inception in 2020, eJHaem has steadily advanced its mission of promoting hematology knowledge across the globe. As this year comes to a close, I will complete my tenure with the British Journal of Haematology (BJH), where I have had the privilege of serving as Associate Editor since 2019. I shared with @correio an exciting advance for Hodgkin lymphoma patients: a treatment combining immunotherapy and low-dose chemo. Results show 92% of patients had no disease progression. Nivolumab boosts the immune system and lowers long-term side effects. correiobraziliense.com.br/ci… #Oncology
