Day 77 Tent A (6.6 Gal pots) & Tent B (3.9 Gal pots) 2 Juice Pops & 2 Slime Machines! (speedrunseeds) I'm tired boss 😩 🤣 Gonna chop tomorrow or Saturday and hopefully my new beans come in. If that's the case I'll have to juggle things around, because I need to start my seeds no later than November 1st for the next run. I'll be doing a skunk run with Night Owl and I want it ready and cured somewhat to give out at the Autoflower Cup. If I can't make it in time I can at least press some flower and give out flower rosin, since you don't have to cure it to get good flower rosin. These plants were really fun though. I found out I'm burning my plants with my EC during weeks 6-7, and I might need to bump my potassium and calmag up during weeks 7-9. Genetics make this difficult because some are gonna take more than others and some are gonna like different ratios. I consider myself a noob because of that. That experience only comes through trial and error with a lot of different strains and runs under your belt! It's why I really respect a lot of the old heads in the community 🤘 Anyways, I'll document the harvest and dry. I bought some Grove Bag knockoffs that I want to try alongside a glass jar with a vivi pack and some Og Grove Bags. I also have hygrometers to confirm what's going on! Oh right, I'm flushing one tent with a low EC feed and the other with Cake from CropSalt to see how they react differently. I Want to compare the taste and stuff too 🤷 Want to know exactly what I'm doing? Watch my vlogs available on YouTube, X, Instagram, and Patreon! Plastic pots on a Tray2Grow? I rigged it. The Tray2Grow is meant for fabric pots. So I tied shoestrings through the bottom of each container to touch the mat. The wick pulls water up and keeps the medium at the right moisture. Right now it's plain water - the nutrients are already in the medium. Number one reason your buds aren't dense: genetics. It may be the biggest factor on the list. I've seen growers do everything right and still end up with airy flowers - and I've seen certain genetics stay dense even when the grow wasn't perfect. Genetics set the possibility. Everything else helps you get closer to it. Seeds + genetics → mrgrowit.com/equipment What's the densest variety you've grown? #genetics #densebuds #homegrow #growtips #growyourown

Why the flushing debate never ends. It's incredibly difficult to isolate variables. Different genetics. Different nutrient programs. Different environments. Different mediums. So it's easy to draw conclusions that may not actually be accurate. Free feeding chart → mrgrowit.com/grow-pack Which side are you on? #flushing #nutrients #growmyths #homegrow #growtips

What surprised a lot of growers about the flushing study. 0 days, 7 days, 10 days, 14 days. No significant difference in mineral content inside the plant. In other words - withholding nutrients before harvest didn't appear to dramatically reduce what's in the buds. Free feeding chart → mrgrowit.com/grow-pack Do you flush? How long? #flushing #nutrients #harvest #homegrow #growtips

Eight runs on the same soil. This time I'm taking a break. I got a soil test done. It came back very high in chloride and very high in nitrates - so I had to flush every container. After that I'll go back in with a reduced dose of Stash Base and keep reusing it. Stash Nutrients → amzn.to/3vZpkir Have you ever had your soil tested? #soiltest #livingsoil #nutrients #homegrow #growtips

I'm going synganic this run - in five gallon pots. Five gallon is generally seen as small for organic inputs. Not impossible, just more challenging. So I'm adding a little Stash Base, Stash Bloom at a reduced rate in flower, and bringing in synthetic inputs alongside. I've shown this on the channel before, but it got buried. Time to bring it back. Stash Nutrients → amzn.to/3vZpkir Have you tried mixing organic and synthetic? #synganic #nutrients #organicgardening #homegrow #growtips

A lot of people grow synganically without knowing it. You start in a potting mix with organic nutrition in it. That carries the plant for the first 20, 30, 40 days depending on pot size. Then you add synthetic nutrients for the rest of the grow. That's synganic growing. Full breakdown in the book → mrgrowit.com/product/organic… Is that how you run yours? #synganic #organicgardening #livingsoil #homegrow #growtips

Do different nutrient brands need different EC? I think I’m starting to notice something and I have to ask the community. You guys are waaaay more experienced and smarter than me!! I’m seeing people run 3.0 EC but when I check they’re using Canna, and when I see people use 2.5 EC they’re using Athena. So I’m curious if you run different EC depending on the brand of nutrients?! Is this a stupid question? lol O_O

I leave some of the big fan leaves on. I know that's frowned upon. If they're low, not overlapping anything and not hurting anybody, they stay. They're solar panels, they're nutrient banks - and they're an early warning. Nitrogen toxicity usually starts low on the plant, from the tips. If I'd removed those leaves I wouldn't see it coming. Free feeding chart → mrgrowit.com/grow-pack Do you strip the lowers or leave them? #defoliation #nutrients #leafcolor #homegrow #growtips
