It’s almost like the Free Speech Union is the embodiment of its racist, sexist imbecile founder, Toby Young, as a means of allowing him to pretend that he’s capable of holding a place in society despite all the evidence to the contrary
Hard to believe this of an organisation so closely entangled with the gender critical movement and their struggle against elitist trans people.
Free Speech Union hit by internal allegations of racism and sexually inappropriate remarks

I don’t know what qualifies Salma Shah to be a guest on #HIGNFY but I do think there are funnier people who could have taken her guest seat
Best thing about #CelebrityTraitorsUncloaked is seeing how people struggle with forced waving for an unendurable period of time
Nice of them to give an untested presenter a chance
📺 Brand new episode hosted by @amolrajan, with @PhilNWang and @Ommasalma, tonight at 21:30 on BBC One & iPlayer

If someone wrote an essay on their "reasonable" objections to marriage equality, but elsewhere were seen to be enjoying homophobic slurs, it would be pointless to engage with their "reasonable" objections, as if they are genuine, and they aren't actually just a hatemonger.
Replying to @AidanCTweets @jk_rowling
So you are going to avoid addressing the arguments in her essay.
Bash is definitely gunning for the Boden womenswear modelling gig #CelebrityTraitors
I wholeheartedly endorse this idea, not that that matters. Among multiple performances that support such casting, I recommend Marble Hall Murders on @BBCiPlayer
I don’t think Miranda is especially the greatest actress, but a Miss Marple reboot where Jane Marple’s small mouseish quality is balanced by a large physical presence could really work
I see the news about Thomas Markle is giving sad little shitweasel Piers Morgan an opportunity to throw shade about Meghan as revenge for her deciding not to allow him to slaver all over her like a sex-starved slug
Theatre game is coming along. Account balance tracked week to week, and each show gets original reviews (pull quotes generated using Apple’s on-device Foundation Models)

GB News is launching GB Music Radio, a 24-hour digital station only playing artists from Great Britain and Northern Ireland, on 2 November. Chief revenue officer Ross Sergeant said this "gives advertisers something genuinely new". radiotoday.co.uk/2026/10/gb-…
Ooh that’s really not a great recasting. Cool way to introduce the new voice though, as a minor but integral part of a much larger story #TheArchers
Among everything I did this weekend, I finally got a working prototype for the theatre sim game I’ve wanted to build for the last 15 years… unfortunately handing Claude the task of designing screens has made it look like every other fucking Anthropic-fuelled slop
Watching WAR on Sky Atlantic and how refreshing to see Canary Wharf playing Canary Wharf on screen, instead of some US city or a dystopian sci-fi nightmare location

‘While this musical parody may be unauthorised, its tenacity, rudeness & smart adaptation of Tierney’s TV series make it a great ambassador for the show’

Listening to the @empiremagazine podcast celebrating Little Shop of Horrors (with the 4K Director’s Cut out on Blu-Ray next week). Such a great musical movie, plus of course awesome choreo from @patgarrett777 which the podcast inexplicably forgets to applaud
